Real Finnish sauna, scent of Birch and old traditions in that sauna, to me that is the best sauna in the world.
Taken in the lake päijänne, Suomi Finland
This is a nice series of shots I took from two chicks waiting for their mammy to carry something to eat. First they were sitting on the opposite side of the same branch. Then one began to approach the other little by little until they were sitting side by side. In the next moment their mammy came some worms in her mouth. Quickly she went away and the chicks looked pleased leaning towards each other.
Was trying out my macro lense at our summer house but it was pretty difficult because of strong wind.
Despite the wind I was able to get couple of cool shots with the sigma lense.
We have had the cloudest winter in 50 years here in Finland. The other day, when the sun was shining, I went out to take some sunny wintry photos
I took this right after the first time I was brave enough to go lake swimming by myself - pretty proud of myself to be honest :'D
I now have an instagram account - you can find me @katjakayphotography
