My first mojito. Nectar of the gods.

In Miami on a business trip, finished up early the day before flying back to California. My counterpart in the Miami office took me down to Ocean Drive (the Art Deco section). We ducked into an outside bar with umbrellas covering the tables when a rain squall popped up. We sat there drinking and talking until the rain stopped.

1 teaspoon raw sugar.

1 ounce fresh lime juice.

1⁄2 ounce simple syrup.

ice. The limes came from my tree. The fruit is rather small at the moment, but normally I get hundreds of delicious limes. They are very refreshing and cooling. HMM everyone!
