Sekolah Tinggi Perikanan menjadi tuan rumah penyempurnaan module untuk Sekolah Tinggi dan Akademi Perikanan. Kegiatan ini bertema “ Finalization Module and Training Materials For Fihseries University and Fisheries Academy – Value Capture Fisheries Project”. Finalisasi ini berlangsung selama lima hari yang pembukaannya dimulai pada hari senin 21 sampai dengan 25 Pebruari 2011 dan di buka secara resmi oleh Ketua STP Dr. Aef Permadi. Acara ini diikuti oleh peserta VALCAPFISH dari BPSDM-KP dan turut hadir para mentor yaitu Prof. Dedi Fardiaz, Prof. Sigfrid Berhimpon, Dr. Suparmo, P.Hd dan expert dari INFO FISH Malaysia. Sedangkan Expert dari Belanda adalah Mr. Peter. dari The Wageningen University and Research. Program Finalisasi ini bertujuan untuk menyempurnakan module yang terdiri dari Module of Product Development, Module of Fisheries Marketing and module of Fishing Port Management.
Pada akhir kegiatan, para peserta mempresentasikan hasil penyempurnaan yaitu module dan materi yang masuk ke dalam module masing-masing. Selanjutnya acara ditutup oleh Sekretaris Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Kelautan dan Perikanan, Kementrian Kelautan dan Perikanan

In my original photo, I had the subject positioned against a fairly busy background that was dynamic and realistic, but perhaps too distracting to viewers. I listened to Jerica's advice from last week's discussion to take a new photo. Specifically, Jerica's words were: "The only thing for the first photo I would say is that it does seem pretty busy. While very cool and fun to look at, the background can potentially be seen as distracting from your subject because there is so much to look at and explore!" This was such an extremely helpful note! In my recreation, as seen at the second link above, I wanted to keep the setting of the photo consistent as well as the positioning of the subject, so I had my model pose in front of the fire station, directly in the center of the frame. It even had the same truck number labeled above the subject's head! This time however, instead of being right in front of the truck inside of the building where there was tons to look at and be distracted by, I had my model in front of the beautifully brightly painted door of the fire station. This is a solid (plus very vibrant) color and solid background, so much less to explore visually which allows the focus to be completely on the model's expression that tells a story.
