DC Rail-operated, HNRC-owned Class 20s, 20901 and 20118 "Saltburn-by-the-Sea" along with DC Rail Class 56, 56091 "Driver Wayne Gaskell - The Godfather" on the rear move two of the new Merseytravel Stadler Class 777 units through Hartford on 5Q25 05:18 Kirkdale Carriage Sidings to Crewe Carriage Sidings.
The two units - 777008 and 777012 - were believed to be heading to Crewe for mods so that the Merseyrail guards are able to operate the doors on the 777s as well as the drivers.

Yes folks, Bowbrick does paint xD
By request of Wyatt (Sphinx), I posted my newest mods that will be used on some figures very soon. I spent alot of time on these, and I think they turned out pretty neatly. Added are some inspirations and people who I want to see these. If you do not wish to be added, feel free to remove yourself :)
The coolest mods for me were the two brickwarriors ones shown here since I used a new technique for making trigger holes on them (they come solid, and that's why some people dislike them).
I personally prefer that the trigger guard be cut out like you see on most brickarms, but the style and excellence of the brickwarriors rifles were too good to pass up :) Hence, I got out the hole making tool on my pocketknife and started turning the tip around on the area where I wanted a hole on both sides of the gun. Sure enough, it eventually got all the way through, and it looks great! I would highly encourage customizers to try this technique on brickwarriors weapons. Don't avoid the piece-- there is always a way to make it happen!
The drybrushing is not evident in this picture, but it looks great in real life ;)
Anyway, hope you like them! Let me know your favorite one in the comments. Enjoy, and any and all feedback is much appreciated.

I've been working on the Caranthir mods on the Nexus. Now with support for female bodies, fixed weighting, slightly improved textures, added cubemaps, etc.

20189 Limited's Class 20s, 20205 and 20189, on-hire to SLC Operations, approach Winsford with Merseytravel Stadler Class 777s, 777010 and 777010 in tow on 5Q20 05:18 Kirkdale Carriage Sidings to Crewe Carriage Sidings.
Another pair of Michael Owen's Class 20s, 20007 and 20142 "Sir John Betjeman" were on the rear of the working, which was to move the 777s to Arriva Train Care at Crewe for further mods.

Modding is much funner than I thought it would be, now that I actually have enough spare weapons lying around.
On the left is supposed to be a QBZ-95; the standard rifle for my PLA figures. Made from a Minifig.cat AUG, and a MC MP5SD. I know it's not quite right: for one thing, the stock is not nearly long enough, and the forward handle/trigger guard could be a bit longer. I wanted it to be holdable by a fig, though.
Then there's an M16A4; standard stuffs, made from a BA M16DBR, and a MC M4 barrel shroud thingy (whatever its really called, IDK).
And a tactical Glock. Because why not.
I also still have to photograph and upload my best modding work yet, which is in the form of a Remington ACR. I know I'm just jerking my own lead here, but I really love it.
Well, I finally got the last few things I needed to finish it. The top left is what it started out. I cut the barrel, put in a piece to make the barrel longer, added a bipod with the clip- part cut on both sides so that it sat pretty nicely, added a butt and a grip, as well as a scope, and decided to paint it all. Sadly I lost the reference i originally started with..
I'm pretty satisfied with this, but I can see from different angles of other photos I took that I need to paint a few spots that I missed. Unfortunately it's really messy, so that's a downer.. Practice makes perfect..?
Any tips? I added those who have inspired me greatly into creating more mods, as well as what kind of paint to use (figured we only had reddish-brown acrylic paint lying around :P). What's an efficient way to make it a lot more clean? I think I have heard that sanding helps, but I didn't try that very much, seeing as I wasn't sure. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.
Will, does this strike your fancy at all? I'll be bringing it to Bricks Cascade.
Sorry for all of those I disappointed with the big "lead up." I must admit that I was very excited to get closer to finishing the product, seeing as it is the first mod I have actually spent hours on.
Thanks for viewing!
