I have several framed photos in a small show at a cafe in downtown Oakland, along with Jeremy Brooks (show organized by Paula Wirth). Location: Modern Coffee, 411 13th Street (in the Tribune Tower, downtown Oakland). Hours: M-F only, 7 am - 5 pm. (We had a reception on 9/15.)

Almost all of the photos are of vintage Oakland signage.

Oakland, CA. These are mine. I have three others in the show too, and Jeremy Brooks has several. I didn't get very good shots of the rest of it, but hopefully someone else did.

today as kristen was closing up shop she came across a small stack of this poem. how cute is that?

john ruszel installed his amazing piece at modern this weekend. here's a little stop-motion film i put together. it captures his 8 hour process in just 22 sweet seconds. :-) i can't wait for you to come in and see it!

One of the things we lacked up in our corner of town was a proper coffee shop. Now we have one.
