Here's a really unique one; when it was originally released in 1961, the US Navy had a conniption when it was learned that Soviet agents were buying the models. Allegations of security breaches were made, but ultimately proven untrue. The end result was huge sales for Revell from the extra publicity! This boxing is from 1975 and is exactly how I remember seeing if for the first time in Woolworths on Charlotte Street in Sydney NS. Wanted it badly but had to wait a while. Thankfully we have Ebay now!

Today Susanna came by and we took some photos in my home studio. It was the first time I met Susanna, and didnt know what to expect, but she was absolutely lovely! The perfect model. Very friendly and very easy to work with. And as you can see above, very beautiful.

Started adding more roofing using material from Builders In Scale.
Tried a bit of shadow with an old model tree I had.
1/4" scale country store diorama.
The Model 1S is the Softail-version of the Model 1. It is just a $1,000 more than the M1 and comes with all the good stuff including EVO power, Baker tranny, Metzeler Tires, springer front end and D&D Performance Exhaust.
