This is the more practical and sensible of the two Tesla passenger car models, though it's still pricey.
The Model 3 is a midsize fastback sedan that is smaller than the model S but will still set you back about $49,000. It has quick acceleration and a range of about 310 miles on a single charge.

I was impressed. It felt like I was inside a car equivalent of an Apple iMac; sleek, good build quality and futuristic. Not so sure about having to wade through umpteen touch-screen menus to change or set anything though. There is a lot to be said for conventional manual controls, I think.

Went to Latrobe yesterday to check out the Mersey Hospital access and parking. On the way home stopped in at Anvers House of Chocolate to check out their EV charging facility and as luck would have it got to see my first Model X being charged - got a pic of it with our own Model 3 back to back to compare size - good to tsee a few more places catering for EV. We have not needed to charge away from home yet, (since May 2020) just wanted to see what was available
