So, here was my Christmas Miracle… I'm at my parents' house, where all of my old film photography stuff is sitting, and looking through some of it… Playing with the SX-70s, and for whatever reason I decide to open up the Model 3… I usually avoid the 3, as it's not an SLR, etc… But for whatever reason, I cracked it open, and when I hit the shutter button (just for the feel of it), I heard the shutter click open! I still had a pack of Time Zero in there, with like 7 shots left! They all leaked emulsion like nobody's business, so I had to clean them off as best I could, and the shots I got weren't great because it was the middle of the night and there was nothing much to shoot… But I did crack open my window and shoot this tree with the available light (from inside). I like it pretty well.
Oh, bonus gift - I found an unopened pack of Time Zero in the fridge! So I grabbed an original SX-70 and brought both back with me. Forgot the flash bars though. Will shoot that soon!

King Midget was one of the few new postwar makes that actually built cars for a number of years, although in very low production numbers. This third generation model, built from 1957 to about 1969, was powered by a 12 HP Kohler engine.
Tesla design models have influenced our intellects with clean power, high safety ratings and a wide array of 21st century technologies. Tesla, the purveyor of premium electric cars utilizes supercar acceleration and cat-like reflexes to also appeal to our lust for power and the primal urge to control and direct it. The Model 3 will begin pricing at $35,000 which is roughly half the cost of a base Model S. The base car will accelerate 0-60 mph in less than 6 seconds, enjoys an electric range of at least 215 miles per charge, seats five comfortably and provides storage from front and rear trunks. Expect deliveries yearend 2017.

4-5 days' wind movement, from Helsinki
via sensors and Processing, into form
Wind movement measurement data (wind direction, velocity and temperature) was used to generate a 3d form, which was then cut out of wood.
( Digital wind meets wood :)
The wind line's direction is the compass direction of the wind, the wind's velocity is translated into the sculptural/formal wind line's direction. And, the wind's temperature is translated into the wind's height. The plateau represents 0°c. When the wind line is above, the temperature is somewhere above zero degrees, when the wind is cold, it digs into the wood surface.
The project is made possible via (Processing and) a kind cooperation between the Media Lab and School of Design/Paja (special thanks Hannu, the machine master!) Of the Helsinki Aalto University/Art & Design campus.
