I was in a crazy mood... I was silly enough to carve the cuticle in the claws. With a potato knife! I also made sure she cuticle and the nail come out of the finger more naturally.

I heavily modded my Miki today. I found myself not so keen on her face but I love the body. Xaga resin is a really odd colour and the body is an odd size so finding a different head would be awkward.
So I dremeled her nose bridge right down, sanded her eyes to be closer together/larger, and sanded her pointy top lip XD
I taped off the brass and laid down a black base coat. Next came a gold webbing layer to give it an arcane look. I did some accent and distressing with a black wash, then added brass studs.

I'm using an Apple iSight as the IR camera for the FTIR table I'm using to develop Touché with. I hope this photo series helps others modding their iSight camera for IR vision. It's really easy to take the camera apart, and the visible light filter that needs to be replaced with an IR filter is not glued in at all - it just falls out.
This was my project to use a vintage 120 roll film camera with 35mm film.
There are several reasons why you might want to do this (1) 35mm can be sourced usually cheaper and is more widely available (2) More places process it (3) we'll get a film exposed edge to edge including sprockets.
