All Photos were shot under some pretty interesting lighting conditions without a flash... I love a challenge :D
KLC Project 1.5 - Drawing
This is a very good first set of inked plans, so well done. The plans and overlays line up correctly, your title block and key are neatly produced, as are the furniture layout and traffic flow diagram.
102.5/120
KLC Project 1.2 - Colour wheel
This is a good attempt at producing a colour wheel.
Most of the colours are accurate but some need to be bolder with a more even application. Improved results may be gained by using a different medium such as an oil-based paint instead.
However, that said, the colour wheel is neatly produced and cut out, plus it has been laminated.

39/40: Tutor knocked off the mark as the door jambs were both sides of the door frame, my fault serves me right for working through the night.

Tutor comments- Good set of drawings with a good level of detail. The key and lettering are to a good standard and free hand items coming along!
North point should be outside room.

Oops!! I've not shown the plan with the door on but I did do it!

Tutor's Comments: You have produced a very neat plan with plenty of detail. Your title block looks professional and contains all the correct information.
The measurements you have taken and then drawn into plan are very accurate, which is very important.
The title block is very neat.
Well done for including the skirtings.
You have made a good attempt at drawing the window frames but see the print out of how to draw the different types of window styles. You will need to include another line representing the pane of glass.
Your door frames and swings are very good, you have used a compass to draw the door swings, which is correct.
Always make sure your corners meet. Overall you have done a good job at making sure the corners meet, I have circled a few areas on plan where the corners do not meet.
Break lines - you have drawn the break lines in the correct shape but try to draw them so they are not touching the wall.
In the plan you do not need to include the pendant light. The plan is there to use as a template for the furniture layout, lighting plan, traffic flow. You have drawn it correctly if you were doing a lighting plan.
Practise drawing softs (sofa cushions, scatter cushions, bedding) by freehand. It creates, a softer, more realistic appearance. If you are going to use templates as you have done, practise using these to create a smooth, continuous line.
If you have any accessories - plants, objects - put thes in plan.
The traffic flow is very tidy, include an arrow to go to the window.
