Rough version of an ostrich in upcoming LEGO Prince of Persia theme. Pics of other new figs and CAMEL (!!!) weren't very good. So will get more over the next few days.

A bit of a balancing act here, but it looks like a Needler! Most parts are held together with some double sided tape, but it looks the part.

Mockup at half scale in construction paper on foam core of the planned tile back splash. The black background will be slate gray subway tile. The colored dots will be brightly colored hand glazed circles in three sizes and four or so colors. There will also be some smaller clear glass dots, and some shiny bits in the gaps between circles. Additional dots will appear punched into the field tiles randomly along the counter.

Not shown is the patch in blue dots behind the sink, or some other surprises.

Also in this shot we see the plumbing for the pot filler. The wall board had been stripped off to allow the nipple and reinforcement to be placed. The rest of the wall board between counter and cabinet will be stripped next, and replaced with lath and a concrete tile base float. The tile setters are very old-school, and won't consider placing tiles on anything less stable.
