I think this is an example of Philadelphus or Mock orange - it certainly has a lovely scent.

We encountered this lovely species on the hike down the mountainside.
I had seen it earlier on the trip, in Kruger NP, but that was a much poorer view.
What does that even mean? Why were these little steaks called "mock tender"? Why were they only $3.99 per pound?

I thought this was a mock pocket but realised later that it is in fact a seam that joins with the back seat seam. Of course the pattern envelope did not come with details of this.
Also there are not dots to match up, so be careful in placing the piece to ensure that after seaming the front looks correct - see next photo.

1 1/2 lbs cubed kohlrabi (about 4 medium)
1 medium celery stalk, diced
1/4 medium red onion, diced
1/4 cup mayo
2 tbsp fresh italian parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp whole grain mustard
1 1/2 tsp cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp honey
Place kohlrabi in medium pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium low and simmer until kohlrabi is tender with a few pieces breaking off at the edges - about 15 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate while kohlrabi cooks.
Drain kohlrabi when done and add to may mixture. Stir until well coated. Cover and refrigerate until cold.

The amount of detail that goes into the presentation is just amazing. They are really trying to give you the FULL experience and transport you into this whole other world. It would be quite cool if you get to enjoy the whole meal in a small room which has one giant video screen that warps around the walls... then as you eat every dish, the screen shows the appropriate background to suit... like the forest, the mad hatters tea party setting... etc etc.
Anyone know what this is? Bush. Flowers about 4 cm. Westcoast of Sweden. About 10 km from sea. From my garden.
