Fern takes her new friends to the edge of a human neighborhood to see a house that a human built for her Little People long ago.
It has been long forgotten and pieces are missing or broken. She can't recall when it was built but she thinks it was a gathering place for her kind at one time.
Everyone investigates.
Since Fern is alone, they convince her to travel back to their woods with them.
