This one is definitely not a comfort zone build for me, but I was in the mood for something different. Those spiders were a last minute addition, figured they should do something in return for the space they take up in storage for once - so spider apocalypse it is!
I picked up a couple of LEGO collectible F1 cars and I got two Alpine. So I decided to build a double habitat connected in the center. Basically a section of pit lane with the Alpine box, hypothetically set in the Monza GP.
I think this little cars have a lot of potential to create some interesting vignettes, maybe I should pick up some more.

The monster and the crazy scientist from the CMF series 4.
I turned 2 Minifigure habitats into one cohesive vignette.

His helpers are with him, preparing for the latest letters and deliveries. In the background a good old microscale forced perspective.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Here's my entry for the 3rd day of VignWeek 2024. The prompt is Sci-fi Fantasy.
What if we put a group of fantasy characters into the post-apocalyptic science fiction of Fallout?
Well, here we have two fairies, a dwarf, a elf and wizard roaming the Fallout wasteland.
I never played the game, so I don't know if there is actually a vault 13.

On the road into town stands a small store house and toll station. On market days, the reeve and a man-at-arms collect the tithe from peasants bringing their wares into the town to sell. Mostly they collect agricultural produce which goes to feeding the local nobility and their retinue.
I'm enjoying using the Summer Joust 'No-Bley' category to experiment with different and unusual colour palettes and I've been wanting to attempt an improvement on my previous yellow birch tree scene for a while. Hopefully this hits the mark - it's definitely the build I'm most happy with of my recent spree!

These offices in Port Woodhouse are one example of where Colonial Officers and bureaucrats can ensure that Corrish colonies in the East Prio Sea are properly supplied and administered. Maintaining an empire requires meticulous organisation and planning; something Colanders are renowned for!

5th and last entry for round 2 of the Iron Forge 2025.
Seed parts were minifigure heads, I've used 10 here, 3 for the coffee cups, 1 for the grinder, 2 for the handles (portafilters) and 4 under the coffee machine.
Fun fact, I added that 5 on the side as a brand logo for the machine, it works just nice as it is my fifth build.

Ugh, I'm on a roll. Third build in 2 weeks that I'm unable to complete. This was turning too big, I had no way of making the water for such a large scene. The will was kind of lacking as well. :))
Some close-ups of the ruins on MocBuilder.
Gonna use those ruins for some other build; if you have any ideas let me know.
I modified an Harry Potter set to build a workshop around the Leonardo Da Vinci Flying Machine.

Here's my entry for the 5th day of VignWeek 2024. The prompt is Mystery.
I found this topic to be the most difficult this year so far, at the end I decided to build something from one of the most iconic mystery fictions: Death on the Nile.
I was not very happy yesterday's entry, so I decided to go for a microscale build again.

Here's my 1st contribution to the 2025 Rogue Olympics. A face-off between a vampire and a wolf with exactly 101 parts. The theme was "Twilight".

Here's my entry for the skyline category of the Marchitecture contest 2025. A new take on LEGO architecture, with additional background like on postcards sets. This is the Singapore skyline, for which I tried to used different scale and techniques compared to the latest Singapore architecture official set.
Some buildings and landmarks are not in scale with each other, but I tried to include all the most iconic elements, with a couple of filler skyscrapers to fill the downtown area on the right.

Here's my third and probably last entry for the 2024 Summer Joust, Festival of Colors category.
Once again I tried to use some forced perspective to make the build look bigger than what it is in reality.
I used the net technique to slope down the foreground and used the trees to sort of frame the castle.
Tan and red castle with two waterfalls in the background. Hoping that the dark tan rock piece will look like a path leading up to the castle.
