I had never seen a summer plumage snow bunting and so when this one turned up close to home I had to go and see if I could find it Snow Buntings breed in the high Arctic among rocky crevices where their crisp white plumage blends in with the snowy landscape although a very few do breed in the high lands of Scotland . less than an hour before this was taken I photographed a Swallowtail Butterfly at Dungeness Dengemarsh that is a pair of images I would bet against being taken in the same day in Southern England .

Originally it had to have a rail gun on it's back, but guns are ugly these days and all armies should stay at home, where they belong.

Taken this morning at Sumner beach with a canon 6d mk2 and 16-35f4L IS. I have the camera on loan from Canon NZ for the weekend.

I'll be putting my thoughts into a blog post as soon as possible.

Taxing out to the main at RAF Lossiemouth after a short gas and go stop is this RAF 100 Sqn "Pirates" BAE Hawk T1.

Taxing off the main at RAF Lossiemouth during a 4 week detachment is this Swiss Air Force F/A 18C Hornet . This aircraft is one of Ten on detachment and is part of the Fliegerstaffel 18 Panthers Squadron from Payerne Air Base in Switzerland.
