Fourth generation (DK2A/DK4A; 2005)
The GS has a 162 hp (121 kW) 2.4 L MIVEC four-cylinder engine, derived from the Mitsubishi PS platform family, with which the Eclipse shares many mechanical components. Like the 2004 Galant and third-generation Eclipse, the fourth-generation Eclipse is FWD only.
Based on data from 14 vehicles, 959 fuel-ups and 425,639 km of driving, the 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse gets a combined Avg L/100km of 10.92 with a 0.15 L/100km margin of error. ( Fuelly )

In November 2002, a new Colt was released by Mitsubishi in Japan with a design by Olivier Boulay and built on the same platform as the Smart Forfour. In Japan, it was sold at a specific retail chain called Galant Shop. A European version made at Mitsubishi's NedCar facility followed into production a year later (see below). This generation is not sold in the United States.
In 2004, the Colt was launched in Europe and Australia, with models ranging from 1.1 L MPI MIVEC, 1.3 L MPI MIVEC, 1.5 L MPI MIVEC and 1.5 L turbo MIVEC in petrol. A three-door arrived in 2005 for Europe only.
The Smart Forfour also shared the 2003 specification chassis, with Brabus releasing a performance version of the Forfour in 2004 using the same engine as used in the 2004 European cz-T, but squeezing 30 hp (22 kW) extra out of the same 4G15.
My favourite picture from a quick shoot up on Cold Fell.
Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a longer sequence as the cloud cover came VERY quickly and put an end to the shooting.
Just visible towards the left are a set of trails belonging to what I assume to be a military aircraft on night training - it passed no more than 150ft above, was exceptionally quiet and wasn't illuminated well. Then, just as I had packed up another flew over which had green fluorescent strips all over it - very spooky!

In 2014, Mitsubishi unveiled the all new L200 which went on sale in early 2015 (Asia Pacific) and late 2015 (Europe and the Caribbean). It is powered by a new 2.4-litre diesel engine. Since 2015, the current generation L200 shares the same underpinnings as the newly rebadged Fiat Fullback intended for the European and Middle East markets. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles currently has no plans to introduce the Fullback in the North American market due to the U.S. chicken tax as well as the introduction of the Jeep Gladiator, based on the fourth-generation Jeep Wrangler SUV. For the 2017 model year, Ram Trucks rebadged the Triton as the Ram 1200 for the Middle East market.
The VGT models came with a 2.5L variable geometry turbo engine capable of producing 178 PS and 400 Nm. The Triton MT had a 2.5L commonrail turbo engine capable of producing 136 PS and 324 Nm and the Triton Quest had a 2.5L DOHC commonrail engine with 110 PS and 200 Nm. In September 2016, alongside of the change of engine for the VGT models to a 2.4L MIVEC VGT turbodiesel engine capable of 181 PS and 430 Nm.
2019
The Triton was refreshed for the 2019 model year at the 2018 Thailand International Motor Expo in Bangkok, Thailand. This update consists of new front fascia, which is inspired from the Pajero/Montero Sport, Eclipse Cross and Xpander, new teardrop taillight design treatment as the Pajero/Montero Sport, and slight changes in the interior for some variants.
The Triton is notionally half a segment smaller than competitor Mid-size pickups, seen in the overall vehicle width, wheelbase and vehicle mass.
Ranking highly in Australian sales (5th overall in 2019), nonetheless the primary market for the Triton is the Thai market, where it is built in RHD for ASEAN (and Australian) markets.

The Smart Forfour (stylized as "smart forfour") is a city car (A-segment in Europe) presented and produced by Smart over two generations. The first generation was marketed in Europe from 2004 to 2006 (5 door, front engine) and the second generation was marketed in Europe from 2014 onward (5 door, rear engine).
The first generation Forfour was marketed only in Europe from 2004 to 2006 and in Australia as a 4-door, 5-seat hatchback, sharing its platform with the Mitsubishi Colt.
The car was produced at the NedCar factory in the Netherlands in conjunction with Mitsubishi Motors. This is the same factory that produced Volvo 300s in the 1970s and 1980s and the Volvo V40s in the 1990s. To save production costs, the Smart Forfour shared almost all of its components with the 2003 Mitsubishi Colt. This includes the chassis, suspension and a new generation of MIVEC petrol engines.
Stylistically the FourFor aped the 'Tridion Safety Cell' design of the Smart ForTwo, though the car was manufactured in a straight forward steel monocoque alongside Mitsubishi Colt platform twin. (Though the outer panels are bolt on plastic parts)
The Smart Forfour was phased out from production due to slow sales in part to high purchase cost and lack of market competitiveness.

The Mitsubishi Pajero is a sport utility vehicle manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors. It was named after Leopardus pajeros, the Pampas Cat which is native to the Patagonia plateau region of southern Argentina. However, since pajero is an offensive term for "wanker" in Spanish, alternative names have been used for many markets overseas. It is known as the Mitsubishi Montero in Spain, India, and the Americas (excepting Brazil), and as Mitsubishi Shogun in the United Kingdom. Discontinued in the United States in 2006, the vehicle continues to sell well in the rest of the world in its fourth-generation guise.
The Pajero Evolution was introduced in October 1997, which was developed in response to new entry requirements for the Paris – Dakar Rally’s T3 Class. The Pajero Evolution came standard with a 3.5 liter 24-valve DOHC V6 with Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control (MIVEC). A new, dual plenum variable intake helped increase power and a new suspension made the ride even smoother.
