This Malachite Kingfisher was captured while on its way down to catch a fish at Lake Panic in the Kruger National Park.
After the missiles rained down, some of us rose up again.

This photo was taken within a minute of the last one posted, but was looking in the opposite direction. Baby Missiles by War on Drugs, is a great description for the short sharp showers that rained down.
Roller Missile.
This photograph of this colourful bird, it's beak just penetrating the blue sky and the wings folded back, justify all those long hours spend observing and photographing from the confinement of the cabin of our vehicle.
Have a great day!
Comet Neowise Flow Through Golden Gate Bridge
To link Comet Neowise with the most famous icon in San Francisco - Golden Gate Bridge is one of shooting plans I had since Comet Neowise became so popular among the photographers.
I used PlanIt app to make up at least 6 shooting plans around the bay area, and this is the most-wanted. However, this time of year, San Francisco has been always sunk in fogs, so I missed all chances to link it with GGB during sunrise time. Luckily I was able to capture it at the only clear night during the sunset time. This is one time shot with one exposure only.
Again, here is the tmelapse taken during the night, the only night was clear in Golden Gate Bridge area:

This is just one of two twin missile launchers which make up the Royal Navy's "HMS Manchester"'s armaments. See following pic and link for more info.
Another slab ship, not overly satisfied with this one. There's some elements I'd like to try on a large, SHIP-sized slab: the ventral acicular thing, the grabby arms near the bow, the angular fuel cells moving toward the stern.
I enjoy putting in some elements to suggest fish shapes (radiating fins, gills, tail, spines, feelers, needles, etc) but not too fishy, if that makes sense. In an abstracted way.

Sometimes it's easier to recycle parts of builds then to sort and build again. This is made from pieces of this www.flickr.com/photos/53458657@N04/16046012354/in/datepos... and this www.flickr.com/photos/53458657@N04/22816941765/in/datepos... plus a little spinkle of creativity.
Edit: (afterthoughts)... Warning ....mech head will explode with missiles when threatened and will literally fire its face off at you.
The nuclear capability of the Empire of Shiryoku is displayed here with its SS-NX-38 Ballistic Missile Submarine. A small model of the submarine displays best all the engineering details of the inside and outside design.

This particular model is a GEN Shiryoku specialty submarine, manned by approximately fifty elite nuclear warfare agents. The mission is to avoid war at all cost.

BNSF 8260 blasts by the crossovers at Minneola on the Needles Subdivision, with high priority Intermodal heading east. Minneola on the BNSF is slighty different than the on the Union Pacific as the crossovers on the BNSF location, has more than triple the amount of trains going over the frogs and at a much higher rate of speed.
Ukraine needs missiles.
Russia is using missiles on Ukrainian cities. Last weekend, Odesa was hit with a missile attack that killed a 3 month old baby. Russia is trying to erase Ukraine from the world, and it is using missiles to do it. Russian missiles being used last weekend, which was Orthodox Easter, had the words "Christ is Risen" written on them. Ukraine needs to fight back. They need missile defense systems. They also need missiles to attack the Orcs invading their country. It was a Ukrainian missile that took down the Moskva.
This is a Nike missile at Sandy Hook National Recreation Area. Sandy Hook and the surrounding area in Monmouth County, New Jersey, was home to many of these missiles. They are obsolete and have all been decommissioned.
With the shift from the north to the east, the geography of the battle has changed. The tactics that worked brilliantly in the Battle of Kyiv won't work in the Battle of Donbas. Ukraine needs heavy weaponry; tanks, armored personnel carriers, missile defense systems, and missiles. Ukraine is starting to get some of what they need, but they need more. You can contact your representatives and ask them to support increased military aid to Ukraine. Also, the National Bank of Ukraine has set up a special account that you can send money to to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces. You can find that at bank.gov.ua/en/news/all/natsionalniy-bank-vidkriv-spetsra...
