Light, cloud and sea...

I love the light play with a scene....

Did you ever stop and look at the utility pole and wonder what the tags mean? The two bottom ones are inspection tags, this pole is a 10 year cycle inspection. The PMLP is the owner of the pole with the pole number above. Sometimes you will notice some info stamped into the pole; the maker, the species of wood, the length and what was used to treat it. Many times the poles are plastered with lost and found and for sale signs which may cover this important info. Um, I see a few staples still attached here.....

Mt Somerville (with geodesic dome) and Mt Tomewin mark a range of hills which bound the Tweed River Valley on the north side. Weather and cloud patterns in the area seem quite varied and unpredictable in this location because on-shore winds, generally easterly, collide with prevailing winds which come from the south and west, and in summer from the north. This view is looking south from my home in the Gold Coast hinterland.

So...Two whelk shells basked on the beach, enjoying the sun and sea breeze. One shell exclaimed, "Isn't this shore-ly the best spot?" The other replied, "Absolutely, just don't get too tide down with the sand!" They laughed, sharing beach tales while seagulls provided a coastal soundtrack. As the waves whispered their stories, the whelk shells knew they had found their perfect slice of shell-ter. AI.
