Safe Travels Home Chicken!

Keenan came back from her Safari adventure just to pick up her new sister Mirinda. After hearing all the fun adventures Keenan an Sol (our vainilladolly guest) were having she didn't want to miss out.

I'm so happy to bring this girl home! My Hola Gominola wish has come true!!

Thank you so much Katja for letting me adopt this adorable girl! You gave Mirinda a purpose in life and she is that much more special to me now. <3

This cotton textile was woven on the island of Timor in Indonesia. The designs were created using the supplementary warp technique rather then the more common supplementary weft brocading.

The red color comes from the Mirinda citrifolia tree and the blue from the indigo plant.
