“And the secret garden bloomed and bloomed and every morning revealed new miracles.”

Miracle has found a new spot for her spring shedding of white hairs!! DD assured me that she had curried her the day before.
My DD purposefully leaves the front door open with the storm door latched so Miracle can sleep in a sunny spot. Love how her legs and paws are subtly reflected in the door.
Happy Caturday : sleep
“You don't know what can happen tomorrow. Life is like a novel, isn't it? It's filled with suspense. You never know what's going to happen until you turn the page.”
― Sidney Sheldon
Don't expect miracles to arrive with fireworks and fanfares. They appear quietly, modestly, on Angels' wings.
The pretty bright yellow flowers in the foreground (Doronicum grandiflorum) are particularly interesting plants. Not only are you supposed to lose any scare of heights after eating some of their roots, but they can even make you bulletproof - if you dig out the roots on a Friday during the new moon and before sunrise. (Granted, Wikipedia dutifully points out the questionable source situation especially in regard to the second aspect. Don't say I didn't warn you.)
Jokes aside, the plants contain some sort of natural sweetener, and all herbivores, but particularly chamois, like to eat them. So people thought that eating these plants is what makes the chamois unafraid of heights and sure-footed even in the most daunting terrain.
Christmas Eve, a time to believe.
Wishing all my creative, nature-loving Flickr friends a warm and loving Christmas Eve. May you be surrounded by everything you hold dear.
Helplessly watching someone you love slowly die from Alzheimer's is very difficult, so I give thanks for small miracles that give me hope in the sadness.
