I believe that this is an old Royal Mail Van c. 1953.
It is now abandoned in a wood half covered with moss and with a small tree growing from the top.
Black Oystercatchers are not an everyday sight for me, so when this one flew up (during a fruitless search for a Long-Tailed Duck) it made the trip worthwhile. Only after downloading the image did I notice the small flaw in the bird's yellow iris.

An Eastbourne Corporation AEC Regal, no 11 heads up the street at Broadway in the Cotswold, passing a Morris Minor going the other way during a David Williams photo charter
I love these guys, I especially love those iridescent scales and the way the light reflects off them. This was about 3mm long, but they can get up to 4.5mm in length, they are a widespread and common species in the UK.

The millionth Minor to roll off the production line. The badge "Minor 1000000" can be seen just below the A pillar.
In the late eighties and early nineties, the BBC broadcast the TV series Lovejoy, about a roguish antiques dealer. In the series, he usually drove a Morris Minor convertible, nicknamed Miriam.

A 1960 Minor 1000 in 1:7 scale. Technic engine, suspension, transmission, steering, wipers, handbrake, adjustable seats.
Taken at a small, but excellent car show by the VooDoo Dragons along Route 4 in Hamilton, Ohio that we just happened upon while returning home.
While it obviously packs some muscle and likely is very loud, it may be street legal.
