I found these while out and about with my boys at our local green way. Luckily there wasn't anyone around because we really needed to get out of the house. My eldest isnt taking the social distancing very well. It's been very hard for his mental health not being able to see his cousins and friends. We are starting a phase re opening here in Tennessee as long as our numbers arent spiking then we gradually go through all the phases. I can't wait.
I missed the catch by mere seconds...

I was at this nature reserve near where I attend school and this random dog brought me this turtle. it was shy at first but started to warm up after a while.
Hairy Nope
The hairs are actually called Trichobothria Hairs; In effect, each hair is its own ear that filters out background noise and zeroes in on biologically relevant information, such as an unwary cricket's hopping or a spider's sneaking. (from an interesting Wired article - link in bio).
