Nederland en Vietnam hebben elkaar veel te bieden op politiek, cultureel en economisch gebied. Van alle EU-lidstaten is Nederland de grootste investeerder in Vietnam en de derde handelspartner. De relatie die was gebaseerd op ontwikkelingssamenwerking heeft plaatsgemaakt voor een relatie van handel en investeringen. Voor het Nederlandse bedrijfsleven liggen er grote kansen op het gebied van water, scheepsbouw, landbouw, energie en logistiek.

The Advisory Council on Gender and Development is the main external consultative body helping the World Bank Group promote gender equality around the world. It helps implement activities that support women's and girls' opportunities, in particular in areas recommended in the 2012 World Development Report.
