I didn't plan for this event. I had my camera with me but it's fitted with 90mm Macro Lens. A bit hard with the fixed focal length, with a little extra leg work it worked!

The Honda ST70 -or DAX by another name- was a tough contender for the Vespas in the category of city queen in the 70’s and 80’s. The monkey bike style with fat wheels, bench seat and auto clutch was highly efficient in the streets due to its compact size and reliable four stroke, air-cooled engine. This minibike is still easily spoted in the roads around the island.

Today Marjolein and started with a biketour using our foldable minibikes.

It was fun since the temperature finally reached normal values again.

Riding in the Netherlands is great, specially when using ANWB-routes.

Have a great week my friends!

Seeing this fellow riding a mini bike he built himself at the car show reminds me of the old saying by Walt Disney “Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional.”

The styling on this Honda minibike is reminiscent of the Honda 50cc from the 70s. This current version has a 125cc motor and slightly is a bit larger.

This minibike here is something i built about two years ago. The engine is a 125cc kickstart with four gears. It has a jocky shift instead of foot controls, and i crossed it over from a left hand drive to a right hand drive. Off and on, it took me a little over a year to build. I like tinkering with small engines, and i guess that's what got me started. I don't know much at all about minibikes or motorcycles, but i know what i like when i see it. As a matter of fact, I learned how to drive a jocky shifted engine on this minibike. It took me a while, but i finally got the hang of it. Since then I've worked on a few other projects, and this hobby of mine started making a little money. Feel free to check out my profile on Facebook, Liesaac Favela, #deadleemotorbikes
