A Near Earth Zone Racer, sporting some super stripes.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
I made this spaceship for the stripes and patterns and fun. It was originally going to be two prongs but I didn't have enough pieces!
Blogged by the Brothers Brick, where it remind them of brightly coloured fast food packing. This simple shape and primary colours seems to lend itself to all sorts of interpretations. People's responses, here and on instagram have been fascinating: thank you all!
The year I got my first red spaceman and, later on, a second-hand yellow castle.
The double-sided "Stranger Things" builds inspired me to try the form in a small way, in my world of Lego.
Rescue 3 was a medium tug, mainly used near space stations. It was equipped with a pair of extendable magnetic clamps. The tug's colour scheme indicated its emergency role.

When I built my hydrogen tanker for SHIPtember, I trialled some hexagonal shapes. Unfortunately, I didn't have of enough bricks to make it over 100 studs long. This ship is only 42 studs long and doesn't require an internal frame for strength, like a SHIP might do.
There are more images and a video of the magnetic clamps' pantograph mechanism on Instagram.
K-2SO and Jyn on the planet Jedha. This scene is from the trailer but not in the final film. Too bad because it looks like it might have been a funny moment between the two characters :-)
Day Of The Dead
Posted slightly late due to technical issues, but I suppose time isn't an issue when your dead ?
Milord Michael Maximillian Montague-Montrose's mighty, marvellous, mechanical machine munched miles magnificently!

A lot of the dark green bricks don't exist in the real world but I was having fun with this one! I imagine it is the big Bentley of the hovercar world: loud, raucous and fast; just like its owner.
"My lady! Wherefore dost thou kiss a frog?!"
Looks like our Series 9 Knight is horrified to find the Series 12 Princess making out with a frog. This is another one of those photos I took months ago and just now felt like processing.
This racer was mainly an engine and fuel, with a cockpit fitted on top. Green 3 was successful in many competitions, with its distinctive blue & white livery popular among race-goers.
Among the many myths about Green 3 was one that it was originally a SHIPtember 2022 project, which was cut very short due to a lack of bricks...
There are more views, include the internal structure, over on Instagram.
And I think about 62 minfigures lost their torsos... at least.
I decided to go all out on a single entry for the forge. We'll see if the strategy pays off!
Too close to having force-finished this to know if I love it or hate it. Tell me what you think!
More pictures on Blockheads and coming to EB soon too.

RECIPE:
1) Take the biggest Watt & Pritney gas turbine engine that you can find; sprinkle a trio of smaller engines to the vertices of the triangle; add four wheels and a giant spoiler.
2) Hollow out a small niche for a driver/pilot/test dummy on top of the vehicle (preferably on the side that the civilised world drives on).
3) Steering? It's a dragster! It just goes very fast in straight lines. You don't need to parallel park or squeeze it between a pair of SUVs in Kwik Save's carpark!
4) If Matt Rowntree should even so much as be suspected of thinking of mentioning the lack of mud flaps, beat him with fish.
FOURTH WALL
Brick Bending seems to be my experimental theme this summer.
A compact, yet spacious load carrier, generally used in spaceport and large factories.

The idea of this vehicle made me smile because it looks as though it should be possible to stretch it out, like a spring.
Why wouldn't you want to drive around in a car shaped like a hot dog? i think that something stuck in my brain from a childhood Richard Scarry book.
Anyway, there's plenty of room inside for fuel and mustard, so what's not to like?
This is an image I took during a photo session a couple of months back. I was just messing around and at the time didn't really like what came out. But for some reason I recently decided to go back and look at what I did and after some messing around with some effects I came up with this. I thought it came out "alright" so I thought I'd share it with you all.
Harley Quinn, Aquaman, Deadshot, Batman
Just some random figures really, might take them apart after this picture is taken, just thought some of their combos looked kinda cool. I guess you can kinda tell some of inspiration, but like I said they just came together pretty randomly and thought they looked pretty cool.
Hope you like them :)
Hello! Here's a render I made for my good friend, KnightofElabor (AKA Nate Silverstone).

Over the holiday weekend, Lisa used my mini LED lights to decorate her coffee stand. She may have overdone it :-) For some reason it reminds me of the Griswold's House in National Lampoon Christmas Vacation :-)
Officer Joe doesn't seem to mind - he's still sitting on the handle, drinking his coffee :-)
A little known side-line product of Llwyngwril Space Systems are poles for fire stations. Using their knowledge of high-tech alloys from spaceships, LSS produce some of the best quality vertical fire engine emergency access systems in the world.
Prior to installation, each pole is carefully tested by a dedicated team. The testers would get tired walking back up to the top of the pole, especially as a minimum of 10,000 descents are required for each test. A lift (elevator) was considered but proved to be expensive to install and maintain. Llwyngwril Space Systems used their knowledge of hyperspatial mechanics to create this testing rig, with a flat walk from the bottom to the top.
Tomorrow (April 16) is World Circus Day! Many circus schools are doing performances and workshops to celebrate.
I recruited Finola the Ballerina to pose on the static trapeze for this shot. It looks like she's having fun :-)

Hey guys!
I hope that wherever you are, whether your celebrations have just begun or if they are already over, I wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas, and I wanted to celebrate that with this figure, I really hope you guys like it!
All the best!
Well, it seems each Summer Joust the duration of build time for my first build gets longer: I started this quite a while ago, but at least it's here now. I hope you like it! I was inspired by the Aztec Game where they try to hit the ball through the stone hoops. I tried to make the ring smaller, but couldn't get that done. Also I tried to make the posing more dramatic, but couldn't do that without cheating with glue or something, which I had rather not ;) . I'm happy with it though, been a while since I had done a Meso-American MOC: or any MOC at all, for that matter!
Entry for the Team category of the summer Joust 2021.
Together we built a castle through the seasons.

The full-picture-build was quite a challenge and I can't remember when one of my builds had this many Minfigures in action. Most fun was to build the siege tower which got inspired by the old one from Playmobil.
Like many of my fellow Legographers I felt compelled to take a LEGO photo commemorating the 2nd, and AMAZING teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Here we have (presumably) Luke with his ever-trusty, and apparently rusty astromech droid R2-D2.
I really tried hard to capture this shot as closely to the original as possible. Not just in content and pose, but composition, lighting, background, atmosphere, and the final color grade. There is a very distinct look to this. Aside from the obvious orange and blue, there is a lot of greens and yellows to incorporate. Overall I'm pretty happy with the results. Please let me know what you guys think! And boy! What a teaser! Huh?!??!!?!?!
Silver Banshee, Black Mask, Baby Doll, Black Lightning
Silver Banshee is pretty simple, though Syndrome's body worked really well. The Skull face isn't the best but works and not too sure on the hair, might give her white hair when I get my hands on some.
Black Mask is an updated version, this is only my second incarnation, meaning when I first made him over two years ago, I kept him the same since. I wanted to try this torso as it looks like the Arkham Origins look of him, but when the Alice figure came with those printed feet, I thought I'd try it out and I think it works really well.
Baby Doll, I haven't seen tomany of her around, but when I saw the Minnie Mouse figure, she was my first idea. The Alice hair works even though it isn't very accurate and I'm sure I've seen someone use this head as well. Baby Doll is from the animated series if you don't know.
Finally Black Lightning is kinda based of the new 52 design and kinda my own spin on him. I think it looks pretty cool, although not having any black on him kinda defeats the reason for calling him Black Lightning, so maybe this version is Blue Lightening or something like that.
Just to let you guys know I have gone back into my old boxes of bricks and built just something little but pretty cool, should post that soon, if not today maybe if I get the time.
Hope you like them :D

I very rarely make copies of real-life objects or virtual images but I spotted this on the Concept Ships blog and was inspired to have a go.

So I’ve been rewatching the SW movies and binging the Clone Wars to get ready for season 7! I’ve definitely been getting back into the franchise lately, and I don’t think I’ve been this into Star Wars in years :) Anyways, onto the figs...
Bottom row, L-R:
Jango Fett: Simple yet effective
The Mandalorian (Beskar Armor): Mainly stolen from Lego.boy_95 on Instagram, but with modded Ninjago armor and the dual molded Apocalypseburg Batman legs.
Darth Vader (electrocuted): Pretty awesome fig if I do say so myself, uses a mix of real parts and digital editing
Ten Numb: RIP
Top row, L-R:
Garindan: Wonderful head design is courtesy of Peppy_ii on Instagram
Anakin Skywalker (Attack of the Clones): Idea to use this head goes to Werdnauf
“You’re my only hope” R2-D2 and Leia: R2 is the official, Leia is the 2011 fig with Spider-Gwen’s hood, dual molded arms, and the Leia dress piece from the newest Tantive IV set.
Lemme know what you think! :) I’ve got many more posts planned soon
Tonight we're expected to get our first autumn "cold" front. Temperatures will plummet into the 60's :-) (It's been in the 90's!!). Minifigures will be wearing their sweaters, pants and jackets to endure the cold weather.
Seriously though, we will be getting some cooler weather tonight although I wouldn't call it "cold". We don't get many fall colors in Texas, this photo is more like wishful thinking :-)
Double, double toil and trouble the Wacky Witch prepares her witch’s brew for some wicked fun this halloween!
Since I've got the Muppets minfigures, I wanted to build this scence!
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew invented a machine that can turn gold into cottage cheese. Genius!
The helicopter is ready to take off, waiting for the mission to get the green light.
He has been uneasy since the moment he reached this forward operating base.
Something about this joint operation disturbs him.
He is all for joint operations. He is not so sure about the ones involving secretive organizations with no definite chain of command.
He is always suspicious about secretive organizations, especially when they claim to act in the “exclusive” interest of humanity. It often turns out they have some different agenda.
However his orders are to cooperate until the mission objectives remain the same and so he will do. Until the mission objectives remain the same.
The communicator integrated in his helmet activates and he get the Command’s message: “Mission is a go.”
He grabs his gear and moves to the helicopter.
It’s time to put the bad guys out of business, while keeping a eye on the new “friends”, just in case.
I realized I never used the Ultra Agents UltraCopter I bought for the villain Minfigure and so I decided to make a little test, bringing the Series 13 Galaxy Trooper Minifigure into the scene :)
I hope you like this photo :)
I built this yesterday to show off the Dog Champion minfigure from Series 16 of the Collectible Minifigure line.
and all the inbetween....
Deathstroke- Not too sure about this version yet, he's kinda based off the DC Rebirth design, although I didn't realize how much this looks like LordAllo's version, so credit goes to him.
Livewire- Never really had a definitive version of her and never really seen one on flickr which is 100% perfect, but even her original design looks kinda lame and can easily be mistaken for Killer Frost. So I decided to go with a version that didn't have white skin and her powers came from the suit, just to make this version stand out a bit.
Wraith- This has also been a more trickier figure, although this version I kinda like, don't why I do though, he's sort of based off the New 52 design (with that awesome helmet) but then I thought the blue accents sort of make him more like Batman, which he's meant to sort of copy.
Cavalier- Haven't done this figure before, but I think my first crack is really good, didn't think I would get much use out of Hobgoblin, but what do you know. Probably the only thing that isn't accurate to his comic counterpart is the colour of the hat and the white neckerchief.
Condiment King- Seen many people use the sky diver minfigure for him, but thought the Captain Cold head is very unique and adds to the sillyness of the character.
Literally made most of these figures this evening (other than livewire) as I had some spare time at home, going back to uni next week, so will try and get one more photo out before I go. Happy New year guys and see you round!
PS. Don't why I didn't realize this sooner, but THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 1K FOLLOWERS!!!!!!! I have something very special to share to celebrate this :)

Here are all of my custom Lego Legends of Tomorrow minfigures!
From left to right:
Nate Heywood (Steel)
Amaya Jiwe (Vixen)
Rip Hunter
Sara Lance (White Canary)
Ray Palmer (The Atom)
Mick Rory (Heatwave)
Here is my collection of Legends of Tomorrow minifigures! I decided to redo my Rip Hunter minifigure, and then decided to binge watch the first two seasons again so I was inspired to make all these! I had most of Nate already done sitting around, and both Sara and Rory were fairly simple. The most difficult ones were Ray and Amaya, but mostly Ray. I decided to not include firestorm because [SPOILER] Victor Garber decided to leave the show and Firestorm is no longer with us. I hope you guys like them, because I spent a while on them. I may post more detailed photos of each of you guys are interested. Let my know what you think! Thank you!
