Somewhat regretting the impending loss of Summer, but eager to embrace Autumn. Thinking about it, on September 20, 2011.
...caboose on the end of Train 130, decorated in red white and blue in anticipation of the nation's bicentennial the next year. A lot of railroads were getting into the patriotic mindset and this was Frisco's contribution. The friendly wave from a crewmember was a neat finale for this road show.
In recent times, CP has been relatively bland with the motive power that is being used on trains but this was a major exception to the normality of the CP trains.

Today hasn't been a great day for me. My relationship of almost two years is suddenly over and I'm feeling really rather disorientated by the whole thing. My 365 might suffer a bit for the next few days because of it but I'll really try my hardest not to let it. If I'm honest though, I'm actually so relieved.. The only thing really getting to me is my total hatred of change.
On a lighter note, this was shot this morning at sunrise on the frost covered park, and despite my awful mindset today it was such a peaceful ten minutes or so. Now that sunrise is later on in the morning I hope to shoot in it more often.
P.S happy Bonfire Night/Guy Fawkes Day/whatever you want to call it!

It's a bit of a mindset shift to switch back to photographing barrels outdoors. Fortunately, shooting with strobes has taught me to be more deliberate about when I photograph, so I no longer spray-and-pray when photographing. It's saved a TON of time uploading and saved tons of space on my hard drive.
