Usually I upload several photos per week and received on average 1,000 views per day. A few weeks ago I stopped and uploaded only one image per week.
To my suprise the daily click count not only stayed the same but went up to 1,500 and sometimes over 2,000. Today I looked into an older photo and to my surprise it received 13 clicks in a group from which I removed it weeks ago.
Instead of improving the functions of flickr (besides some minor improvements), like real group moderation (i.e. permission granting to certain users to invite photos... the wishlist is long) flickr is manipulating the dwindling interest of their users by faking a much higher click count of their photos. As a paying customer I find this intolerable.

This oddball collage cut-n-paste cover for the cult advertising/brainwashing themed scare pic "Agency" (1980) plays up the Robert Michum/Lee Majors cast. Barely released theatrically in North America, the film gained a steady following via cable TV showing. Retitled (roughly) "The Incident of the Maze" for this release. Very rare.

A motion picture based on the book came out in 1953. In the film version, Dr. Patrick Cory, the doctor who keeps the brain alive and is soon possessed by it, is played by actor Lew Ayres. Les opérations ARTICHOKE impliquaient la création détaillée et systématique de barrières spécifiques à l'amnésie, de nouvelles identités et de codes et de déclencheurs hypnotiquement implantés. This uber-rare Daewoo Video release of two "Max Headroom" episodes, including the premiere (?) "Blipverts" promises "special action" and a "shocking future." The ahead-of-its-time dystopian series ran from 1987 to 1988. Front cover announces the episodes had an "urgent" theatrical release in Korea.
This fungus infects, kills, and zombifies houseflies for a living. Not only its mycelium may grow into the fly's brain, controlling its behaviour so it climbs to a high position and opens its wings to facilitate proper dispersal of the fungus spores (while the unfortunate hosts gets paralized and slowly dies over 5-7 more days), but recent research just found that the fungus messes also with the species sexual behaviour. Entomophtora muscae furtherly facilitates its transmission by making infected dead flies attractive to males (swelling up the abdomen) and perhaps liberating chemical compounds acting as courtship-elicitors, .

Reclaiming Our Divine Sovereignty
This cube sculpture, made of machined staples, embodies a powerful symbol of the circumstances that end up binding us to the material world.

The cube can represent many things, restrictive doctrines, mind control hierarchies, religious sects, societal norms, the digital world that we live in.. yet our nature does not allow us to live trapped in a box.
Perhaps the key to spiritual awareness is in recognizing that we are a supreme authority, and that we were never meant to live within the cube’s restrictive walls; maybe we are meant to exercise our free will to expand our love for each other, to transcend above materialism, to connect with the infinite, to arrive at our inherent divine awareness, in order to break through the cube and reclaim our divine sovereignty.
Covid 19, the genesis of total governmental control over all our lives and everything we do and how we do it. The new normal, every single thing we do and step we take controlled by ever changing and conflicting signs and “executive orders”. Total government domination. And no one seems to care, like sheep to slaughter we go. We will soon resemble a country like Venezuela or Cuba. I spent time in Cuba traveling and its not good.

A polyrhachis ant gets infected by the Ophiocordyceps fungus when the fungal spores attach to their exoskeletons and breaks through the cuticle using mechanical pressure and enzymes.
Yeast stages of the fungus spread inside the body and produce a cocktail of chemicals that manipulate the behavioral patterns of the ant. Fungal cells reach the brain and once the population is of sufficient size, it secretes compounds and takes over the central nervous system enabling it to manipulate the ant's behavior. Forcing the ant to reach the forest floor or undergo irregular full body convulsions that dislodge it onto the forest floor.
Once on the forest floor, the ant climbs up the stem of a plant and clamps down on a main vein of the leaf using its mandibles. Subsequently atrophy sets in, destroying the muscle fibers and disabling the ant from controlling the muscles of the mandible to unclamp itself. This phenomenon is called the death grip.
The fungus eventually kills the ant and continues to grow inside as it invades soft tissues and structurally fortifies the ant's exoskeleton. More mycelia then sprout out of the ant, securely anchoring it to the plant substrate while secreting antimicrobials to ward off competition.
When the fungus is ready to reproduce, its fruiting bodies grow from the ant's head and rupture, releasing the spores as seen here.
Dead ants in high densities can be found in small area generally termed as graveyards.

Have you ever noticed a suspiciously still fly which seems to be glued to your window? It was probably killed by the fungus Entomophtora muscae. This curious parasite not only infects and kills, but even "zombifies" houseflies for a living. On entering its hosts, the mycellium directs fungal hyphae into the fly’s brain. The infected insect will then show a characteristic set of abnormal behaviours: after crawling upwards as high as possible, it will adopt a distinctive wings-spread, abdomen-up posture, while a glue-like substance is produced in its feet to secure attachment. This is to ensure that the spores, showering from many cracks in the host’s intersegmental membrane, will disperse effectively into the air and find new flies to infect. To worsen things, males approach the infected bodies attracted by their female-like swollen abdomens, getting infected while attempting to copulate and furtherly facilitating the fungus transmission.
