I traveled to an install for work to rural Arizona and of course had to stop and get some photos. I helped install a submersible pump on Boreline FlexiRiser. It was a deep well at over 700ft. Anyhow, I got a bit of sunburn and didn’t really feel like shooting; but then came across the coolest old signs in the small town of Wikiup. Sadly when I passed Nothing, AZ the area is fenced off and they are building something… something in Nothing just might ruin Nothing… I’m glad I stopped for shots there in the past. This little figure is a Millinillion from Pocket in Action club. I believe it’s part of the Acid Rain World Series… while shooting my camera kept having read write issues again. Nothing is more frustrating than that.

I found this hollow spot in a saguaro that was eye level. I packed my full collection of these 1:18 scale figures into this spot. It was tough!

My daughter really wanted to go on a photoshoot even though it was 111 F degrees outside. So we did. It was short, but we stopped and got ice water at a QT and headed to a spot with saguaros. Everything was pokey and burning. We knocked a few cactus fruits off a shorter saguaro and tasted the dark red figgy flesh and seeds inside. It was sweet! We then looked for spots to shoot and found this jaw bone next to some coyote scat…

Overall it was a good time; then we went to grandmas house. After a good meal and fun visit the sun went slid below the horizon and the evening cool rolled in. We then made two stop motion videos in the backyard. Short but fun. I’m glad she has a desire to make these toys of ours come alive!
