My girlfriend Barbara is working at the university of York this autumn. Good excuse to celebrate my birthday in the UK this year. We went to the York Moors, did some steamtrain hunting and eventually disappeared in the fog.

From a trip I made with my son to Chicago

After waking up at 6am, wandering around a deserted city centre for the shops to open so I can buy the essentials. (Thanks BA!)

Anyhows, at least this gave me a chance to pap some largely people-free pics of Millenium Park, the Cloudgate and the stunning skyline.

It's been taken many, many times! No sure I have anything to add, but again I couldn't help myself...

Visiting Trinity Buoy Wharf I took this across the river in the cold October Sun.

my friend jeff took me to this amazing restaurant in san francisco (actually, we went to a couple, but i only have pictures from this one).

I took a few photos on the walk over the Millennium Footbridge towards St Paul's Cathedral.

The Millenium dome! To me this looks like it was taken from a field and that's why I like it.. it's almost like the dome is an alien craft protruding from the earth... antenae open wide!

Really I was down some crappy industrial street in Canning Town poking the cam at some barbed wire! :D
