Jay Pritzker Pavilion and the Great Lawn
The Jay Pritzker Pavilion and the Great Lawn is located at the east side of Millennium Park and comprises almost half the park. It is a 95,000 square-foot outdoor concert area with 4,000 fixed seats, plus the lawn area that can hold another 7,000 guests. Above the lawn is a steel trellis that distributes speakers throughout the entire lawn area, creating a truly modern acoustical environment.

Another from the BCC evening out.
St. Pauls Cathedral and the Millenium bridge as viewd from the riverwalk of Southwark. I noticed the long shadow from the bridge and waves from passing boats kept continuously recreating parallel patterns in the river that echoed the shape and angles created by the cathedral and bridge forming a long triangle.
my friend jeff took me to this amazing restaurant in san francisco (actually, we went to a couple, but i only have pictures from this one).
Apparently it takes less than the power of a toaster to flip the bridge as it is so perfectly balanced.
The Millenium Stones were created to mark the millenium and were installed in Gatton Park in 2003.
Each of the 10 stones has a contemporary quotation on it from each 200 year segment. It is also here to celebrat e the Pilgrim's Way which passes by here.
