I shot this while waiting in line for the Millenium Force roller coaster at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio.

Straight out of camera. Little zoom shooting for ya.

The bridge has a surprising camber as you cross, and offers good views back on the Sage, the Baltic, and the whole quayside area.

Millenium Bridge - Gateshead

The Millennium Bridge is a pedestrian bridge, originally opened in 2000 to celebrate the millennium and immediately closed as the first people to cross noticed it swaying!! It reopened in 2002 after major improvements, it is still known as the Wobbly Bridge to Londoners. The bridge in the background is Blackfriars Bridge and as you can see is having major works done.

This stone was erected in Villierstown, Co. Waterford, Ireland to commemorate the new millennium. It contains the names of all of the families living in the village on 1st January 2000.
