Taken in the early morning blue hour before sunrise. A fairly still morning and a high slack tide helped with the reflections. Plus very little river traffic at that time. Thanks very much for viewing.

Never ventured into the courtyard of this building before, as I have alway admired it from Millbank. Well worth the venture.

The MI5 building is on the right just after the bridge, followed by the Millbank Tower. The many newer buildings in Vauxhall, including the residential St George Wharf Tower, can be seen in the background.

Thanks very much for viewing. Have a great weekend :-)

On the junction of Vauxhall Bridge and Millbank in the City of Westminster, there is a high-quality residential apartment block called Riverwalk. Designed by Stanton Williams Architects and completed in 2016, this award-winning development is a collection of highly specified 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses with a focus on light, space and service, as well as exceptional views across the River Thames.

Spread across two organically shaped buildings, the 116 apartments are ideally located in prime central London, moments from Tate Britain and a broad range of cultural and shopping amenities.

Near the Renfrewshire village of Lochwinnoch was Meikle Millbank Mill in Burnbank Glenn, the mill itself closed in the 1950s.This burn powered the mill and had an artificial weir built further upstream.

Millbank Tower, London, originally known as Vickers Tower. This grade 2 listed complex once held the title of tallest London building, from construction in 1963, although for just 4 years, being succeeded by The Post Office Tower in 1967.

The complex sits just a stones throw away from the site of the notorious Millbank Prison, of which a large proportion of its inmates were awaiting eventual transportation to the Hulk Ships of Australia.

Millbank Tower, a grade II listed building apparently, was home the Labour party HQ when they were in office. They've moved out and the Conserative party apparently now have their HQ in the building below. Thought I might have been the first to truly do it this justice from this angle but it a quick search revealed that the venerable Vulture Labs beat me by a good couple of years.

I now have a final closing date for my Out of Time Exhibtion, next Thursday 19th Feb so if you've been thinking of going but haven't made it yet, now's the time! (see link below). Thanks as ever for your appreciation and comments.
