The city of Shimla sparkles at night, captivatingly viewed from the balcony of the Oberoi hotel Cecil. The lights fade as they meet the midnight blue sky full of light emitting celestial bodies!

The Milky Way Galaxy is most significant to humans because it is home sweet home. But when it comes down to it, our galaxy is a typical barred spiral, much like billion of other galaxy in the universe.
-
The Milky Way ia a barred spiral galaxy, about 100,000 light-years across. If you could look down on it from the top, you would see a central bulge surrounded by four large spiral arms that warp around it. Spiral galaxies make up about two-third of the galaxies in the universe.
-
The Milky Way does not sit still, but is constantly rotating. As such, the arms are moving through space. The sun and the solar system travel with them. The solar system travels at an average speed of 515.000 mph (828,000 km/h). Even at this rapid speed, the solar system would take about 230 million years to travel all the way around the Milky Way.
This is my best processing.

It was 4 on the clock when i went out. I walked more than 1 kilometers but i couldn't find good foreground. After walking 2 kilometers i got this foreground. Foreground is done . Now i have to wait for 3 hours for galactic core. It's evening,i am afraid and alone in this rice field. After a while i will see milky way so i am ready. I get upset, I don't know from where the piece of cloud come. I am waiting for sky to be clear....in the process one hour had passed. I am alone here ,2 kilometers far from the village and the situation is getting worse. It's 9:35 pm the sky is clear. While listening songs i clicked so many pictures. I didn't realize when time passed, it's 12 in the night. The passion for photography erase all my fears. After collecting everything i returned home.

Already at this time we begin to leave the summer behind and we welcome the fall. We remember the first days of summer of this year 2020, when the star hunters are at their best and the nights are impregnated with magic. We are in the Cornalvo Natural Park, at the beginning of the path that leads to Rugidero, I think this is the place that we have photographed the most times.
Of the few shots with the Milky Way this year, a panorama made from 7 vertical shots, of 15 seconds each, at f/2.0 and 2500 ISO. At this time I had a special illuminator, Alberto was in charge of lighting each exposure with a torch with warm light in a homogeneous way, so that it is not noticeable when forming the panorama; soon he'll take my camera away ...

In early June 2018, I was in the American southwest where I visited Arches National Park in Moab, Utah, the Canyonlands, Goblin Valley State Park, Monument Valley and several other areas. However, I did so only after the 4 day workshop I conducted at the time was over then I was free to enjoy everything by myself.
One of my main objectives was to photograph the Milky Way over a couple monuments that are not easily reached if you do not have a 4WD.
I wanted to return later this year to this area but we all know what got in the way and knocked that out.
I will return to the southwest in 2021 where I'll conduct several workshops and while doing so I will cover shooting the human element for Milky Way night sky images. It's going to be fun.
