I don't think I have ever wanted to beat up a mascot more than I wanted to beat up the Pittsburgh Pirates mascot "Parrot." Here, he stands on the dugout during the game trying to distract Reds pitcher Mike Leake while he delivers a pitch.
I know there are some Reds fans that do not like our beloved "Gapper," but go to Pittsburgh and you'll learn that the G-Man isn't so bad compared to this guy.
Thus far, rookie Mike Leake has been the Reds' most consistent picther. Who would have thought the rookie from ASU would skip the minors and become the most reliable pitcher the Reds have?

Monday night was definitely not the best performance of Leake's professional career. He allowed another one-inning implosion, and appeared a bit shaken, not typical of his usual self. No worries though; we all still have faith in the youngster.
