During 1970 I decided to hitchhike from the SF Bay Area to Albuquerque to meet a couple of friends. In Paso Robles a couple offered me a ride all the way to my destination if I would share the driving with them. They were on a non-stop trip to Chicago. I was driving when the sun came up in Arizona.
