Following massive assaults against its trade ships, the Space Classic Federation started to build defense vessels. Then, the strategy moved slowly towards offense with the creation of heavily armed and armored fighters. The Solar Shadow was the result of this strategy as they were sent alone or in small groups to raid the Blacktron positions. They became famous with their ambush tactics that consisted in sending a decoy trade ship while remaining hidden in the light and turbulences of the nearby star. When the attackers were busy with the decoy, the Solar Shadow swoop down on their prey and destroyed them all. The rare Blacktron pilots that survived these raids gave these ships their name.

I had a blast building these ships with my little bros. It was hard because we've never really had the experience of building at micro scale, but it was fun! I think however, that some of the ships are cooler in our head than they are in real life haha

The Galactic Rim is not home to cutting edge and modern technology, by definition. A significant time after the introduction of drone technology to interstellar exploration and combat within the Core Systems, the idea is beginning to catch on along the Rim.

Named after a Japanese beast of folklore, the IDS Ningyo is a modern drone deployment corvette for fire. The two computer-assisted flak turrets are purely for point defence. The real edge provided by the Ningyo is it's two drone deployment bays. The crew is trained to control, maintain and manipulate a wide variety of drone types, from combat models to logistics and salvage types.

Generally hired by smaller governments to provide high-tech support to their traditional navies, the Ningyo is respected by allies and feared by enemies. With such scant protection, however, it requires careful escort to keep safe and operational.

This picture displays a Wildfyre-class combat drone, armed with multi-barrel photon blasters.

Ma ville en miniature, grosse prise de tête! Du coup admiration au max pour les afols qui pratiquent le microscale!

First there was the headlight plates, then some bright soul figured out the technic plates with side holes (wheels go in studs first). I humbly present to you the latest development in chassis for your microscale vehicles. It rolls man, it really rolls!

Perched on a bluff overlooking the city, the Micropolis Observatory has a great view of the stars.

Also features one of my micro airplanes!

Possible entry for Bruno's Landscape contest.

In the same spirit as Mr Yoder's work, this craft has both wet and dry storage bays. On the rear of the ship is a docking platform

Built: 1895 Architect: Richard Morris Hunt

I think I got a bit carried away on the stickers with this one. Nonetheless, it came out completely differently to how I imagined. The engines were originally on side pods, but it made any cockpit I put in the middle look too small and imbalanced. So this vertical configuration happened instead.

in the next couple of days I'll upload some close-ups of Micropolis

you'll find details of Micropolis in this set

Overview of the attack on Base 74: Two Friendly units attack Base 74, an enemy installation in the Kalahari Desert, obliterating the compound.

Made for Brickscalibur's "Capturing Character" category.

A 1:125 scale ship. It has a full interior as always. Though there is space for the bed and toilet I don't have the pieces for them. This is also why the ship is blue not grey.

The landing gear retracts though not very well. there is also a engine room added from the cross section of the ship. It is removable to access the lower cargo hold.

The lower hatch is also there but it is kept closed to keep the 3 stud wide part of the ship and the 4 stud wide part of the ship together.

Shown for scale with a standard B model Chub and a 7p dude.

The C.M.S. is a very complex machine but it can be controlled by only an expert of machines.

Hopefully Chris is a talented pilot, and he is ready for the missions!

An overall view of the micropolis project as it stands so far (short a couple buildings I think...)
