Albacore-class fighter was developed as a FTL-capable for the Commonwealth Royal Navy's Colonial Defence Force (CDF), able to operate independent of a carrier.
It's streamlined ion-engine gives the Albacore a high sublight speed, a modulated shielding system gives add protection.
The CDF operates only one squadron of the ships, known as the 'Black Aces' who operate throughout British Outer Rim territories. Only rarely seen, the 'Aces leave few survivors in their wake.
Like most strike fighters, it is extremely expensive to produce and replace and demands quality, expert personnel. Rarely risked, the Albacore is a sight to be feared by enemies and cheered by allies.
Manufacturer: de Havilland
Role: FTL-capable Fighter
Length: 12m
Crew: 2
Weaponry: 2 x Heavy Mass Drivers (forward facing)
Shields/Armour: Heavy/Medium
FTL: Capable (short-range)
This is a ship I've been working on quite a while. It has a full interior which is almost the same as my old 5 foot wide ship, with the exception of the power distributor, the thruster rooms, and the elevator. While it has retracting landing gear it does not have retracting guns as it is too small for that. It is 1645 pieces and is 14.3 inches wide.

A microscale model of my university campus. Read on for more details!

Size: 34 x 102 studs (27 x 81 cm)
Scale: 1:1250
This is so far the most meticulously prepared of my MOCs. I started in April by creating the most recognisable building of AGH and the building of my faculty. Then I kept building the others one by one, making measurements in Google Earth and trying to keep the shape of the campus as accurate as possible.
The next step was to fill the space between buildings with roads and greenery. SNOT (Studs Not On Top) is heavily used here, along with crazy connections with headlight bricks, brackets and small plates. At this stage all was very fragile, but it soon changed. Each fragment of the model had been reassembled completely as I changed things, filled the gaps and applied various corrections.
Hope you'll enjoy it!
A 1:125 scale ship. It has a full interior as always. Though there is space for the bed and toilet I don't have the pieces for them. This is also why the ship is blue not grey.
The landing gear retracts though not very well. there is also a engine room added from the cross section of the ship. It is removable to access the lower cargo hold.
The lower hatch is also there but it is kept closed to keep the 3 stud wide part of the ship and the 4 stud wide part of the ship together.
As most Historicans know, the Doctors of Historica at the University of Petraea are unrivaled at applying their knowledge to the betterment of Kaliphlin, but they hide perhaps some of their most impressive achievements. One of these are the great sun rays guarding the entrance to the Inland Sea. As a Ulandan privateer found out, there is no "sneaking" through the shelter islands to the Inland Sea. The great sun rays collect the intense Kaliphlin sun through a reflecting dish and through a series of lenses provided by the University, turn the sunshine into an intensely destructive ray of light and heat. The privateers' ship never stood a chance.
This is my somewhat belated Homage to the late nnenn, a fantastic builder whose stuff I’ve had a look through. I found this and liked it so much that I decided to build my own interpretation.
Features:
Cargo hold (16 studs x 3 studs x 9 plates)
VTOL (rotating engines)
Retractable landing gear
Forward & rear loading
Armament (Four light cannon, two heavy cannon)
destruction of the village complete, river is now diverted and the construction of the dam can begin
backstory in this album
[If anybody has ANY critiques about my build or especially my photography and lighting, PLEASE let me know :) It would be most appreciated. I need to improve on both.]
I had a blast building these ships with my little bros. It was hard because we've never really had the experience of building at micro scale, but it was fun! I think however, that some of the ships are cooler in our head than they are in real life haha

In the beginning of space travel, the ranges of FTL travel were limited to the drives themselves. As time went on, drives became more advanced and ships began to rely more on fuel. Captains had to pack their cargo holds with fuel or find somewhere to stop and refill.
Out on the Galactic Rim (where a hold full of cargo is an explosive possibility) independently minded people have been quick to take advantage. Like the hermit crabs of old Earth, purveyors of these refuelling depots find a suitable rock, burrow inside, set up basic life support and open as a going concern.
Captains usually set themselves up in very densely populated asteroid belts and have the ability to shut down all beacons and power and become undetectable at a moment's notice. The threat of fuel pirates are an ever present one and depot captains often contract mercenaries for protection during times of local upheaval.
This model has a long range communication system and is able to store and transmit messages over extra long distances. Entrepreneurial depot captains take a stipend from each message, further augmenting their incomes.
Crew: 2-10
Manufacturer: No standard design, asteroid dependent.
Weaponry: Nil.
Special: Augmented fuel capacity. Long range communication beacon.
The Mark V is a heavy tank armed with a second generation anti-armor/anti-emplacement Pulse Cannon, anti-personnel/anti-aircraft machine guns and a SAM pod for low flying enemy aircraft.
Microscale doodling.
All that is left of a once proud fleet. (Seriously.)
I hope to upload some more later today, I just have to finish editing it.

Finally digitized this creation. It has a few more fixes, namely a more clear interior, folding fins, better guns, and rear landing gear. The arms also move up and down at the shoulder area slightly but I forgot to animate that. There are instructions for this model here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-47640/TheRealBeef1213/prowler

in case you don't know, there is a full size castle right in the centre of Milano, built in the 15th century and now used as a museum.

Sometimes, when planning a large project, it's nice to have a small model to mess with, to see how things work before doing it on a large scale. This is a microscale of my Neotron diorama, complete with everything currently on the actual WIP.
Some good old-school space freighter action, GHL style. Not a whole lot to look at really. I'm considering this a prototype, with plans to improve shaping, detail, and change the color.
Barad-dur (the Eye of Sauron) and the tower of Orthanc (tower of Isengard). Made for my microscale map of Middle-Earth.
