I wanted to do something in a similar style to Soren's Chub, and this came out. Yay for bendable knees!
A little (literally) build inspired by kids who visited me last week and built few tiny turbos out of my unsorted Lego pile. The red & white car may be a Toyota, while second is a parody of Renault.
This was built for an art history project where we had to create a Mesoamerican exhibit. I built a microscale version of the museum, and then part of the interior. The interior is meant to resemble ancient ruins, and the artifacts currently on display are the Feathered Headdress (Aztec), Calendar Stone (Aztec), and Chacmool from Chichen Itza (Mayan). The two empty stands are for another Chacmool from Templo Mayor (Aztec) and the Coatlicue Statue, which I didn't have to include. Credit to Matthew Oh for the stair technique.
Finally digitized this creation. It has a few more fixes, namely a more clear interior, folding fins, better guns, and rear landing gear. The arms also move up and down at the shoulder area slightly but I forgot to animate that. There are instructions for this model here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-47640/TheRealBeef1213/prowler
here is a animation of the new pods in action: imgur.com/8LIaAfc
A microscale block of flats in Swedish summer surroundings.
In some way inspired by the art of Jaxco (000float @ Instagram).
Typical accomodation for humankind within the developed Core Worlds. Designed in the circular style of Alanis Ferr, this type of home was popular on new colonies like New Kansas.
The main level has the panoramic view whilst storage and bedrooms tend to be above and below the windowed section.
Bonus build in the spirit of the Microscale SciFi contest... I probably could have built this before the deadline, but I didn't think the scale would come out right or it would be too simple... (and if you recognize where this is, then please look here at this device... | ...>>>flash<<<)
Prepping for some serious dogfighting with RichLug in Richmond on Saturday. Anxiously waiting a bricklink order to finish the rest. Rich, James, and Steve will be showing me how to play Microfleet Wars. Can't wait!
This is one of my contributions to InnovaLUG's latest collaborative build, Space Spheres. See more in this blog post on the InnovaLUG website.
Appearing without The Dominos
Ya gotta be an oldie to remember them, Derek and The Dominos (and an Eric Clapton fan ) XD
With a minifig like that it had to be done! I made a couple of these as presents for my mother and mother-in-law.
Join Tommy in this wonderfull live build. Today it's nanofighter time... only 6 parts for that
Second build for NerdVember !
Enjoy :)
I wanted to build something with non-90-degree wings, and this is what I came up with. Originally just a nondescript building, my wife came home and said "Nice Hospital". I then added the H on the roof and the emergency entrance.
feels like ages since I've built anything but it's only a couple of months. Anyway, I managed to find the time, and the actual will, to build this little set, inspired by brutalist architecture.
Hope you like it.
and, as usual, you'll find more pics in my photostream
Here's my attempt at a microscale build of Red Spacecat's USS Saratoga Destroyer.
I didn't have enough bright green cheese, so olive green will have to do. Some details aren't quite right, but its challenging to condense a SHIP into 16 studs long.
This is sized to be compatible with Mobile Frame Zero: Intercept Orbit
I named this pic 'Combined Arms' not because of incorporating air and land assets, but because I used both Lego and Kreo elements.
For the jet fighters, I used the Kreo mini-wings as vertical and horizontal stabilizers.
For the tracked vehicle, I used the Kreo treads, which are becoming one of my favorite pieces. I also used Brickarms M6 rockets as rockets for the bottom-right vehicle. (something I wanted to do ever since I bought them)
Ever since I started to collect the Kreo Transformers Microchangers, I knew that I wanted to incorporated some of their fantastic elements into my microscale armada. After finding some free time I did just that, which resulted in some neat configurations.
Just a little semi to haul some stuff for the mobile crane to lift.

New Moc based on the Harry Potter Universe
-----------------------------------------
Harry, Ron and Hermione come back to Hogwarts for a new year. They took the Hogwarts Carriage at Hogsmeade. It is pulled by Thestrals, skeletal winged horses that only people who have seen death can see.
------------------------------------------
I tried something new in this new creation: the perspective (and microscale): the carriage is getting smaller and smaller on the scene. To the left, the trees are following the perspective and are getting smaller and smaller . To the right, the trees are on the first plan, so they can't be on the scale of perspective.
At the center, i built a microscale Hogwarts.
------------------------------------------
The perspective give me the possibilty to build a landscape without using billion of bricks.
It was the first time that I had used perspective and microscale. It's up to you to tell me if it's successful.
I still have to improve myself on it to produce new creations
------------------------------------------
See you soon for a next creation

Should have been flying out to Florida this week for a family trip to Disney. Been planning it for two years. Obviously there are more serious things going on than me missing out on a family holiday, but it's still made me a little glum. Decided to try and capture a little Disney magic in bricks if I can't do it in person.
Found a use for the ski poles.
edit: Apparently not the first to use the ski poles this way. Oh well. Going for the "cutest" X-Wing then.
This is a microscale version of the Cat Bus from the Miyazaki movie "My Neighbor Totoro". It's part of my "Miyazakitopia" diorama for BrickCon 2010.
If you're wondering why I decided to make the Cat Bus so small, it's because the thing that it'll be flying around is frikking huge!
Built for New Elementary Parts Festival, inspired by the Duomos of Florence and Milan.
See here for details on parts usage and build process.
[If anybody has ANY critiques about my build or especially my photography and lighting, PLEASE let me know :) It would be most appreciated. I need to improve on both.]
