Perhaps a little inspiration from Sunnyvale.

Here is the follow up photo to my Microscale city showing the city lit up, the switch for the lights is located within the power plant area with the aim being to disguise it a bit as it looks most at home in this industrial area of the city.

This microscale castle and town is my section of my collaborative build with Mark Dowers for the 2021 Christchurch Brick Show.

It is not a recreation of a specific medieval town, but inspired by a number of castles and towns in Britain and Europe. The castle was mainly inspired by Conwy and Caernarfon Castles in North Wales.

A few months ago I thought I'd try my hand at some micro-scale sci-fi architecture. Finally got around to taking some pics. Might turn this into something bigger, time permitted...

Inside of the tower, showing how I achieved the angled top.

The stack of brick with either 3 or 5 studs can be used with one dot (1x1 round plate) on either side, By placing two of the 2xn plates on alternate sides and twisting, it allows a tight and clean connection,

It the happens that a cheese slope fits in the top cleanly (as can be seen in the insert)

Huzzah! somehow I managed to find enough parts to build it! xD Some minor propotion related changes and I also had to change up the shoulder plates as I didn't have enough of the required Part! xD

Made to match Zachary Eli "Sierra" Sykes's microscale stuff. I know they are a little bigger than they should be, but I believe they can fit in rather nicely. Anyway, if you guys are interested, here's the link for direct download: dropbox

I've been challenged to build a house with garden, garage and everything. I've got almost everything, I'm only missing a garden shed

The Inflammable- a torpedo frigate/mecha (Variable Frigate?) with too much ordnance for its own good. The torpedo tubes are articulated and there are two gun slaves that can detach and roam around blowing up evil robots.

Armament:

2 x wrench gun, twin mount chin turret (anti-ship)

16 x half pin torpedo tubes in 2 octuple arm mounts

6 x point defense hand cannons, 1 twin chin mount, 4 independent mounts

2 (3*) x LG-79C Box (anti-mecha)

*Aft ventral section allows mounting of additional gun slave if more anti-mecha firepower is needed. It looks better without it, so of course the brass decided on not using it.

I know that a tsunami is a terribly tragic event. Far from me to try to make fun of it. So don't read too much into this : it's just a LEGO microscale.

I spend a lot of time flipping through concept art on Deviantart and other similar sites. I usually save the best ones in Pocket, thinking I'll use one of them for my next MOC. But then, something else usually comes in the way. Some competition or just another idea.

However, a few weeks ago I decided that it was time to simply just build a spaceship. I don't do that as much as I would want to. I used this image as reference and this ship is the result.

Should have been flying out to Florida this week for a family trip to Disney. Been planning it for two years. Obviously there are more serious things going on than me missing out on a family holiday, but it's still made me a little glum. Decided to try and capture a little Disney magic in bricks if I can't do it in person.

The Cinderella Castle is a minor rebuild of a model I put together a few years back. Spaceship Earth and the Chinese Theatre are all-new. That theatre frontage was a pig to put together at this scale - still not entirely happy with it, but couldn't face looking at it any longer!

The Vantu province was the last to capitulate to the new guard during in the third century. In modern times, the Kaiser's armored battalions were kept at bay by remnants of the Commonwealth 1st marines expeditionary holed up within the walls of the Monastery, with help from the wizardly powers of the resident magus.

16 x 16 is a fun scale for building miniature structures. I was thinking of how defenses might level up in some sort of strategy gaming context.

The Persistence Crusader is an essential lance frigate in the Galactic Armada fleet. It sports a single high-grade lance beam (one of the most powerful produced) that cripples ships by targeting vulnerable areas (engines, fuel tanks, etc) on enemy ships. The powerful engines let it quickly get in and out of fights.

This one is inspired by Soren.

Changed the name of my silly little faction from TechSpace to the Galactic Armada. Not that anyone cared.
