For Macro Mondays theme of Stone Rhyming Zone

We had great moments last summer singing Karaoke, so I bought this microphone as a souvenir. HMM!!!

Cette fois-ci, pour le thème "M", j'ai choisi de me rapprocher beaucoup plus avec les tubes allonges et une bonnette de 5 dioptrie.

This mic was not used in the recording of the album, but it was just sitting on the mixing board. it caused a little consternation when we asked to move it in front of the red velvet curtain. Interlopers should never interrupt the recording process. I'm an asshole.

A golden microphone hood ornament on Elvis tribute artist Steve Elliott's pink Cadillac at the Horsepower for Hospice car show, Abbotsford, B.C.

This crystal microphone "Ronette B110" dates from the early fifties. It was made in Amsterdam and is still very much appreciated by musicians (of which I am not one), for example to transmit harmonica sounds. It is in very good condition and works perfectly, the sound is still convincing!

I was asked to sing at a wedding yesterday. After the ceremony, I was putting things away when one of the groomsmen and one of the bridesmaids stood in front of me. The groomsmen wore black tuxes while the bridesmaids wore red gowns. When they moved infront of the microphone getting ready for their photoshoot, I thought it made a nice background for the mike. I thought the shot came up pretty good and considered it a contender for Macro Mondays Theme - MESH

this is an edit of an older photo in my photo stream. i went to this club in springfield, va a couple of times to photograph the bands performing there. the last time i went otep was performing. there was no problem till the next to the last song of her set. anyway, we were kicked out of the club...there's a whole myspace blog about it.

this photo is one of many i took of a band called TON. they are from the danville, va area and i recently found out they are no longer together. they go through "periods" i hear, so perhaps they'll get back together.
