I was out by 5 am this morning hoping for no foot traffic but wanted a few cars to get the light trails. Well there were plenty of people walking about asking me for money and very few cars. I had to stand there for several minutes before some cars drove by. The red streak is from one of the many police cars driving by making me feel safe. I don't like taking these kind of shots alone but it was earlier than anyone was willing to join me. I didn't get mugged so that's a plus.

Make something cool everyday.

Mickey's head was a chocolate mud cake with chocolate cream. Mickey's ears was an egg, dairy and soy free mud cake with a chocolate Tofutti cream cheese filling for the kids with Allergies. I thought it would be nice for them the be able to eat part of the real birthday cake instead of having to have their own "special" cup cakes.

thanks to my friend FLINT for the cool idea

Classic Mickey Mouse

Val... en realitat només hi havia una gota (la gran) les altres dues les he afegides per a crear el Mickey líquid...no he pogut resistir la tentació!

Ok... really there was only one droplet (the bigger one), the other two have been added later to create the liquid Mickey...I couldn't resist the temptation!

Vale ... en realidad solo había un Mickey (la gota más grande) y los otros dos los añadí luego con el PS para crear el Mickey líquido...no pude resistir la tentación!

"Dream Along with Mickey" premiered October 1, 2006, in Magic Kingdom. It's a live stage show about a dream-inspired party to which Mickey Mouse and the gang have invited almost everyone.

I wanted soooo much to do a Mickey Mouse cake. I finally received a request for one. I love the simplicity of this cake but to me it seems so elegant. Perfect for “little” Mayra turning sweet 42: a fanatic of the worlds famous mouse!! The cake is my delicious vanilla coconut rum cake. Yum!

Mickey is a stray cat I more or less adopted this winter. I built a warming box for her, complete with insulation, a heating pad, and even an infrared camera so my wife and I could "visit" her at night. I fed her, her brother Lazaro, and a couple other strays this winter. Lucky for them I did, given how ridiculously awful the winter has been. In return, she is quite devoted to me and follows me around like a dog. Here she is looking indoors through our storm door on a cold winter's morning.

Mickey's Diner was manufactured in New Jersey in 1937 and opened in Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1939. It has been in continuous operation ever since.

Mickey's Diner is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

So I was building a Lowell sphere when it occurred to me that I could turn it into Mickey Mouse. Articulated.

Built this little guy on Sunday. It was a fun 3D character building exercise. Mickey stands 9 inches tall.
