I just heard about Michael's Jackson's release from his tragic life; I don't know what went wrong for him but it's a very sad how he morphed from a beautiful talent to a casualty of plastic surgery, abusive parenting and fame.

remember michael jackson.

the game - better on the other side (a tribut to michael jackson) und als video.

(Diddy talking)

I remember the first time i seen you moonwalk,

I believed I could do anything,

you made the world dance,

you made the music come to life

(Chris brown - Chorus)

This the type of song that make the angels cry,

i look up in the sky and i wonder why?

why you had to go, go

and I know its better on the other side,

you were chosen from the start

never gon let you go,

(The Game)

Whos Michael Jackson,

Your Michael Jackson,

Im Michael Jackson,

We all Michael Jackson,

I guess what Im asking is everybody bow their head for a legend

dont breathe for a second,

now let the air out, grab the hand of somebody you care about,

so you can hear my message, my confession,

someone tell Usher, i seen the moonwalk,

i guess the young thriller touched him,

like he touched me, like he touched you,

so carry on his legacy, something i must do,

and i trust you lighting candles, concrete visuals,

me and my brothers listen to jackson 5 in the living room,

first thing i did when i heard was call puff,

cos him and Mike tried to stop the beef between us,

who was us? Me and fifty,

that beef is dead, him and Mike Jackson gonna take us to the ledge.

(Chris brown - Chorus)

This the type of song that make the angels cry,

i look up in the sky and i wonder why?

why you had to go, go

I know its better on the other side,

you were chosen from the start

never gon let you go,

(The Game)

As Im pouring out this liquor candles start to flicker,

when list my air ones, MJ was my nigger.

Not the one that play ball, the one with the hollywood star,

and since im a hollywood star imma tell you my story,

never had a family that close,

never see Barry Gordy walking through interscope,

just like me they always had Mike in a scope,

no matter what you say,

imma love him and he’s still dope,

let me take you back to 85 when i was in a zone,

dancing for my momma thriller jacket with all the zippers on,

now im doing 90 bout to crash in this Aston,

listening to Outcast, Im sorry Mrs Jackson

anything i can ever do to better you

your son was our king so we wont Corretta you,

Im writing this letter to all the Jackson kids,

we all Jackson kids, time to let us through.

(Chris brown - Chorus)

This the type of song that make the angels cry,

i look up in the sky and i wonder why?

why you had to go, go

I know its better on the other side,

you were chosen from the start

never gon let you go,

(Diddy talking)

people can say what they wanna say ’bout you

and you dont remember the miracles that you showed us

to you music, to your dance

you are the one that made us all realize that we are the world

you are the one that showed us that we can moonwalk

you gave us the beat, you gave us the rythem, you gave us the soul

to us your legacy lives on

you cant stop now, you wont stop now

Mike Jackson

(Chris brown - Chorus)

This the type of song that make the angels cry,

i look up in the sky and i wonder why?

why you had to go, go

I know its better on the other side,

you were chosen from the start

never gon let you go,

its from my heart

This is the kind of song that make the angels cry,

i look up in the sky and ask God why?

This is the kind of song that make the angels cry,

i look up in the sky and ask God why?

inspired by yokoo, who has a much more enviable collection.

i had a great "beat it" pin in 2001 but i gave it to ben folds in honor of his song "rockin' the suburbs." ("I'm rockin' the suburbs just like Michael Jackson did")

Sad day today... Regardless of what you think of Michael Jackson the person, the freak show, Whacko Jacko, etc, the world lost a musical legend today. I grew up listening to and loving his music. The world was a better place with his music in it. And today, the silence resonates loudly.

EXPLORED! Thanks!

This is the classic dancing of

Michael Jackson, for those dancing fans, it is surely a long lasting memory.

In the season to remeber the kinf of pop, what is your good idea?

R.I.P

Just flipping through backgrounds at the Free Photo Studio and once I saw this background... It hit me.

Hello, my name is Michael Jackson. No, not THAT Michael Jackson, but I am on a world tour. My tour is in pursuit of exceptional beer. That’s why they call me the Beer Hunter.

***************

▶ Beer writer Michael Jackson (1942 - 2007) —aka “The Beer Hunter” — was an erudite Yorkshire, England newspaperman who, over several books, numerous essays, and countless appearances, promulgated the concept of 'beer type' or 'beer style,' based on geography and tradition or ingredient and process. A novel concept four decades ago, 'beer style' is now well-established canon, if often twisted beyond Jackson's original premise.

▶ Mr. Jackson's beer-writing career (his first book, “The English Pub,” was published in 1976) coincided with the re-birth of what we now call 'craft' beer. Though a worldwide beer hunter, he grew to love the American beer scene. His cheer-leading and gentle prodding helped to nurture our, then, fragile 'craft' industry. Many brewers would regard his imprimatur as more valuable than a win at the Great American Beer Festival. Some historical research may have since moved past his work, but in a time of “awesome,” “dope,” and “lol,” Mr. Jackson's “more-ish” wordsmithing and mordant wit still remain refreshing.

But I digress.”

*****************

▶ Here, Mr. Jackson is pictured (to the right), in March 2006, at a book-signing (and beer tasting) for his, then, newly published 5th edition of “The Great Beers of Belgium,” at the late, lamented beer-venue, R.F.D., in Washington, D.C. With him on the dais (to the left), is emcee Bob Tupper, a Washington, D.C.-metro-area-based beer raconteur, contract-brewer, and (more recently) a fellow beer-book author.

▶ Mr. Jackson would die the following year, on 30 August 2007, at age 65, of complications associated with Parkinson's Disease.

▶ To this day, the website beerhunter.com is maintained to remember Jackson and his writing.

Actually this is the first idea popping into my head while I saw the LEGO IDEAS contest about music. I wanted to build MJ performing his iconic moonwalk. Due to IP concern it is a predictable result that my entry can not be approved in submission stage. I still love this build and enjoy figuring out the mechanism. See the video and hope you like it.

so i can't sleep and caught another michael jackson tribute on tv. his sudden and tragic death reminded me of what has happened to elvis who is probably more popular and making more money now than when he was alive. so i went over to iTunes and as you can see from the screen grabs, michael jackson is pretty much dominating both the singles and album categories. seems that people and his fans are trying to reconnect with him. i can't speak for everyone but for me, it was sort of sad to see what had happened the last 15 years to him, but i think i will just always remember him as a kid growing up in the 80s as just an unbelievably amazing artist who was so unique. there was no one like him, no one danced like him, or sang like him, or made music videos like him.

i remember talking earlier to a friend and saying that a lot of celebrities have passed away and a lot of them were either not from my generation or just people i wasn't too familiar with... so i guess the death of michael jackson has probably affected me more than any other i've experienced in my lifetime. i think i was still in shock for about a day when i first heard about it but the more i think about it, the more of these retrospective videos i watch, and the more i listen to his music again, the more i start realizing that he's truly gone and he really will be missed... but never forgotten.

i do feel a bit weird about posting my thoughts about everything with a screen shot of itunes but until i get out to his star on the hollywood walk of fame, it will have to do.

As we all know, the king of Pop just died recently. But his music will live forever. We all grew up with the beat of his songs and dance moves. Now it's time for us to remember and cherish his past for the new generation.

So I decided to make this artwork in dedication to Michael Jackson. This will be also a free wallpaper to download soon.

He is the legend. We are his legacy.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson

Within the last half hour news of Michael Jackson's death has been flying all over Twitter and Facebook..

This is really something how quickly news travels around these days with the Web 2.0 sites.. We almost don't need T.V. anymore (I no longer own one either).

He was a revolutionary artist and his music was a huge part of my childhood. Regardless of what your views might be about his more recent troubles, it is a very sad day for so many people that grew up listening to MJ.

This is someone else's image... I wish this would have been my image, but sadly I never got to see him in concert. He was an amazing entertainer from what I'd heard from people that had gone to his performances.
