Фильм заинтересовал меня потому что Алисия и Майкл встречаются и в реальной жизни (несмотря на 11 лет разницы) - вернувший с войны смотритель маяка Том, встречает прекрасную романтичную девицу Изабель, и через некоторое время они женятся, пытаются завести детей, но дважды безуспешно, увы (драма-драма) - они в депрессии, но однажды к берегу пристает лодка, с младенцем(девочкой) и её мёртвым отцом, судя по всему - они решают её удочерить, и вот с этого момента авторами сценария выступили Ф.М.Достоевский на пару с Л.Н.Толстым, поэтому не буду пересказывать - посмотрите!
Снимали его у берегов Австралии, так что на большом экране картинки более чем ок, в итоге: «правильное кино о традиционных ценностях», «романтическая мелодрама», «мы любим такие фильмы за красивые кадры», «много океана», «преступление и наказание» - мне понравилось!
