I've decided to bring this one from the bowels of Flickr back up to the front. One of my favorite Halloween pictures.
Many of my pics are now for sale on my new website www.michaelpancierphotography.com. And if you don't see them there, I can get you prints off the images from Flickr.
Happy Halloween.
Yes folks, as luck would have it, being a parrothead avian photographer only I would find the Great Halloween Parrot in the pumpkin patch. And on top of that, the Halloween Parrot is dressed in Halloween colors. Now imagine that.
Thankfully the parrot's owners allowed me to photograph their bird and fortunately I had the 5d with me. So here you go folks. Even Linus would be vindicated since that poor soul would wait every Halloween night for the Halloween Parrot and only to be disappointed. But Linus did not know that on Halloween Night, the great Halloween Parrot hangs out in bars not in the pumpkin patch.

"We can only appreciate the miracle of a sunrise if we have waited in the darkness”.
A beautiful sunrise at my backyard.
Two 21mm horizontal images stitched on CR and finished on PS
Have a wonderful day everyone!
As always, thanks for stopping by and looking. I appreciate your visits and comments.
From the Parrothead Photographer ....
Another shot of the Halloween Parrot as he tastes the pumpkins. Tonight he'll be at the bar sipping boat drinks. In fact, I may be cooped up inside due to the ill effects of Tropical Storm Noel that is supposed to ruin our Halloween. So instead of getting toys from the Great Pumpkin tonight, I'll probably get some magic frozen concoction that will help me hang on.

Aunque la luz era super fuerte ahí estaba tomando el sol y paseando alegremente por el jardín.....menudo ejemplar... pero otro día mostraré detrás del cual salí corriendo porque quería que me posara para una foto....

This is how the moon look at 2:51AM ET. Finally we saw this highly-anticipated lunar eclipse which coincided with 2010's winter solstice for the first time in some 400 years.
This image was taken at 2:51AM in Miami Lakes, Florida, US.
It's 3:30 AM, time to go to sleep.........

As always, thanks for stopping by and looking, I appreciate your comments and visits.
Here is the view of a beautiful Sunset from my backyard.
Thanks God I can enjoy these wonderful sunsets and sunrises daily because I have both views of the East and West.
Aqui esta la vista de este magnifico atardecer desde mi patio trasero.
Gracias a Dios puedo disfrutar dia a dia de bellos atardeceres y amaneceres porque tengo las dos vistas, el Este y el Oeste.

Went through my photos from earlier in the year. The year is about 3/4 of the way through already.
A photograph will forever freeze that moment in time that will never return. This tulip is long gone, but its memory and beauty are captured here to be shared and enjoyed so long as the image remains.
Fall will officially be here next week and soon I'll be in the midst of foilage and lighthouses.
Have sweet dreams of tulips and windmills and lighthouses and sharp lenses to capture them.
Last shot of the tulips. It's Tuesday and in one week I should be in Antelope Canyon. Enjoy the macros cause you'll be seeing landscape shots for a while upon my return from Arizona.

The first Labor Day in the United States was observed on September 5, 1882, in Boston, by the Central Labor Union of New York, the nation’s first integrated major trade union It became a federal holiday in 1894, when, following the deaths of a number of workers at the hands of the U.S. military and U.S. Marshals during the Pullman Strike, President Grover Cleveland put reconciliation with the labor movement as a top political priority structured settlement. Fearing further conflict, legislation making Labor Day a national holiday was rushed through Congress unanimously and signed into law a mere six days after the end of the strike. The September date originally chosen by the CLU of New York and observed by many of the nation’s trade unions for the past several years was selected rather than the more widespread International Workers’ Day because Cleveland was concerned that observance of the latter would stir up negative emotions linked to the Haymarket Affair, which it had been observed to commemorate. All U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and the territories have made it a statutory holiday structured settlement.
A beautiful Sunrise in my backyard, the sky was on fire on this glorious morning of Labor Day.
Happy Labor Day to all my contacts in the United States and a great week ahead to all my Flickr's Friends "Around the World".

My Grandparents living room in Miami Lakes. I was down there for 2 weeks taking care of my grandmother. The light coming in through the windows looks so pretty at dusk.
