In de zomer van 2022 werd de vakantie samen met de vrouw en dochter doorgebracht in Tsjechië. Uiteraard vond ik het niet heel erg dat de dames wederom voor Tsjechië kozen, want mijn bucketlist qua treinen in dit fraaie land is nog best wel lang ;-). De eerste twee weken zaten we in de buurt van Nymburk en de derde week nabij Uherské Hradiště.
In de buurt van Nymburk is op spoors gebied genoeg te beleven. Nymburk is het startpunt van twee fraaie diesellijnen in noordelijke richting. De hoofdlijn Nymburk-Ústí nad Labem biedt voor de liefhebbers van cargo veel actie. Het reizigersvervoer op deze lijn was tot de vorige dienstregeling niet heel interessant. Een stoptreindienst die wordt gereden door de City Elephants van de serie 471 en een sneltreindienst met 162/163 en rijtuigen (veelal volledig in Najbrt) eens per twee uren. Sinds de nieuwe dienstregeling rijdt Regiojet met locs van de serie 162 en rijtuigen een volledig oranje trein. Leuk voor de afwisseling, maar na een tijdje begint dat ook snel te vervelen.
Tot mijn vreugde zag ik een van Arriva gehuurde locomotief 140 079 opduiken in deze dienst. Een erg fraaie klassieker. De loc bleef ook in de omloop. De vreugde werd nog groter toen bleek dat de 140 079 werd afgewisseld met de nog fraaiere 140 052!
Op zondag werd de middagstek bij Lysá nad Labem opgezocht om daar de fraaie 140 052 te scoren. Het eerste uur kreeg ik nog vijf goederentreinen cadeau. Dat is niet bepaald vervelend wachten ;-). Hier zien we de MFD Rail 186 432-1 met Nex 55594 Česká Třebová odj.sk. - Děčín hl.nákl.n. bij Lysá nad Labem passeren op 24 juli 2022.
DGS 88927 Schönebeck (Elbe) - Recklinghausen Ost
Nachdem mir der aktuell von LINEAS traktionierte NOVELIS-Aluminiumzug schon Anfang Februar bei Lindhorst vor die Linse gefahren war, damals mit einer blauen Beacon 185, konnte ich am 1. März 2023 die RAILPOOL 186 432 vor dieser Leistung ablichten. Die E-Lok ist aktuell mit einer Vollwerbung für den Waggonvermieter "MFD Rail" beklebt. Nachdem die Lok nach der Beklebung einen kurzen Zeitraum bei Metrans gefahren ist, fährt sie jetzt schön eine längere Zeit für LINEAS. Durch eine Störung an der Strecke hatte der Frachtenzug ein wenig plus und rollte passend zum Lichtstand bei Schandelah über die Bogenbrücke der Autobahn A39 in Richtung Westen an einer kleinen Fotografengruppe vorbei. Bis das Licht langsam in die Gleisachse gewandert war, konnte ich noch ein paar weitere nette Güterzüge mit ebenso schicken Loks fotografieren. Im Anschluss habe ich nochmal die Fotostelle gewechselt und bin um die nächste Kurve herum nach Bornum gefahren...

Well, the other evening I was just looking what interesting vintage lenses are out there and came across Petri C.C. Auto 55mm f1.8 and the rest is history. Took it out today at sunset time just to take some sample shots in my neighborhood.
My observations so far: it has very pretty bokeh wide open, colors come out very true to life, MFD is not that great at 0.6m. I have some other ones, but really need to take more images to explore this lens more.

SBB Cargo treinen op de Nord-sud strecke worden vaker voorzien van een 193 als tractie dan een 482 of 189. Er werd dus gehoopt op een rood exemplaar voor trein 88131, Hamburg Dradenau - Regensburg Ost, maar we moesten het doen met de afwijkende 193 247. De lok ziet er nog wat gehavend uit na het onstickeren van de groene FLIXtrain werbe waar de lok de laatste tijd dienst heeft gedaan. De sleep bestaat overigens uit wagens van verschillende verhurders oa. MFD, Touax, Ermewa en Gatx. Dehnsen 09-09-2022

The lens has a bokeh style slider, that goes from "soft" to "bubbles".
The "soft "setting gives you a much closer minimum focus distance (0.28m) compared to the "bubble" setting at 0.55m.

Mfd: 1974 Ex. Air Canada. This is the last airworthy L1011 in operations today. It has made a few visits to Long Beach in the last year for fueling up. Luckily on its third visit, I was able to capture it. Truly another iconic catch this year.

1984 TVR Tasmin convertible.

"Chassis number: DH5656F1. This stylish and distinctive TVR Tasmin started life as a 2792cc car, but now has a 2.9-litre engine (believed to be from a Cosworth unit from a Ford Scorpio) installed. It was registered in March 1984 and has an MoT until June 2023. The odometer shows 1028 miles. Reference to the history file (well-organised in a bound black leather folder) shows the seats were recovered in 2008 and a black mohair hood and Targa section was installed in 2010. There are a great many other general bills stretching back across the car's life, along with old tax discs and a selection of MoT certificates back to March 1987, when the mileage was recorded as 48,246 miles. It looks as if the TVR crossed the 100,000-mile barrier around 1991/1992, although this was presumably quite a while before its new engine was installed."
Estimate: £6500 to £8500. Sold for £6804 including premium.
