Not such a new pussycat as it was in the charity store. The words of the song seemed so right for this cute kitty when I saw it.
Purr-fect for song title # 37/100 What's New Pussycat
Written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David and sung by Tom Jones. Released in 1965.

We have snowfall again in Vancouver area this weekend. This is an archive picture I took 6 years ago.
The Wind Waves sculpture is a beautiful piece and it is no longer there in Garry Point Park.
Wish you all a great weekend!
Garry Point Park is covered by snow too.
It is white everywhere and the seagulls are sun-bathing in the sunny but chilly afternoon.
The red sculpture "Wind Waves" now becomes a landmark of Garry Point.
Have a great week ahead everyone!
Shot taken at Garry Point Park Richmond after the first snow in the weekend.
Gerardo Murillo Coronado (Dr Atl), México. ((1875-1964).
The color of Mexican art is simply overwhelming, outstanding, the way of treating death could not be more festive whatever the medium or style used. (See large)

Wall art at my favorite hole in the wall Mexican restaurant "Super Taco Express."
I love all the details in this! A great piece of art for any Don Quixote fan!
On my last trip to Celaya (Mexico) I was given this beautiful sculpture by one of the artist that I worked for.

The annual "Dia de los Muertos" exhibit always draws big crowds this time of year, but there's lots more to see at this wonderful museum.
Located at 19th & Wolcott in the Pilsen neighborhood, it's free - a contribution is suggested but not required - and your kids may actually enjoy going to this museum...
A gorgeous sand sculpture on the beach by the malecon in Puerto Vallarta.

Acamonchi: Sapos y Culebras

Referring to my adjacent photo of the Rangra Theater in Alpine, next door to the theater is the Kiowa Gallery, Art of the Big Bend with an open parking lot which is on the corner of the block of Holland and 5th Streets. On the side of the gallery is this beautiful mural facing 5th St. Incidentally, across the street of 5th, there is a retail store called Kids Closet which also has a beautiful mural facing 5th Street. There's a lot of cool art on this one street corner in the small town of Alpine, Texas. The elevation of the town is approx. 4,500 feet, which is perfect for warm summer days and cool nights. I love building murals, and I believe this is the prettiest one I've seen.
