Done! I like this version much more lol
I've done a lot here as you can see. Re-molded the head, reworked the tail, and overall gave him a more solid paint job.
If anything seems off, just lemme know. I'll see if I can get to work on it :)

Play by Play is a Canadian company that manufactured Pokemon plush. They were unsuccessful in stores (for unknown reason!), so they were shipped all over the world as arcade prizes instead. They are official, but not licensed by Nintendo.

What exactly is this thing, you ask? It's an Amiibo.
Amiibo are a series of Nintendo character toys that interact with multiple games on the Wii U and 3DS.
What is the character? It's a Mewtwo.
Created from modified Mew DNA, Mewtwo was designed to be the ultimate Pokémon. It didn't take on any of Mew's kinder traits and only uses its intelligence to destroy its enemies. Or...so it seems. Perhaps it just feels frightened or even tormented, and that's why it lashes out. Whatever the reason, Mewtwo is not to be messed with.

Her body style was inspired by Mewtwo.

Viara is one of the two wardens of the soul realm. She absorbs sorrows and regrets from the souls of the dead, and 'digests' them over time. The pool of emotion in her belly can get overwhelming, which she responds to by either holding or massaging it.
After Viara's brother, Syvon, began rebelling against his purpose, she attempted to contact someone from the mind realm. Reaching the Dream Warden who had a connection to soul manipulation, her contact attempt opened a rift between the two realms. A calculated risk she took. The flood of unpurified souls struck down as a beam on Monarth, knocking him unconcious. He spent the following 3 years in a coma in a dream.
Having established a connection to his soul, Viara kept trying to make contact via his soulscape. Unsuccessful, she found a pathway to his mindscape, though she couldn't keep her form. Having to apply to the rules of his mind, her mindscape form divided into a dozen reptilian creatures which Monarth dubbed the Kirkan. By interacting as them, she gradually helped Monarth out of his coma and left her request for help at long last.
Monarth traveled to the Soul Realm, where they met properly for the first time. Learning about her duties and solitude in the Soul Realm, Monarth felt sympathy for the Sorrow Warden. But time was short as rifts were opening, so Monarth took battle against Syvon. Being overwhelmed by Syvon, Monarth decided to take the battle to a different realm, forcing Syvon and himself to a large rift that was sucking them in. Before disappearing into the rift he promised Viara to return one day.
Viara took this to heart and is still waiting.

Anywho, this Viara's version 2 in more appropriate colors. She was never meant to contain gunmetal, but until now I didn't have appropriate pieces to make that a reality.
Just like the previous version, her body shape is inspired by Mewtwo.

He looks better than before, I'll tell ya that. I may need to make a couple adjustments before the final version, but overall, I think he looks pretty good.

When a piece of Syvon's soul containing his acperience powers returned, Viara and her father, the soul watcher were both surprised.
Though the fate of Monarth and the rest of Syvon was unknown, the soul watcher forged the returned soul into a new acperience warden. Alai, as the warden was named, was modelled after Viara, but took on a more brash personality.
As opposed to Syvon, Alai's method of 'beating sense' into the dead proved effective and the soul cycle could slowly start to continue once more.

It didn't take too long to build Alai, since a large portion was copied from Viara. The lower torso is largely original though, as is the back. I aimed for a slightly stockier build with her, though some of the design choices resulted in longer arms and the sides being a bit flimsy. I like the final look though.
Trivia:
-Alai's stomach is still orange as opposed to her translucent tail, because she hasn't fully matured yet. Once she's lived a few years, her belly will become translucent and glowy like here sister's.
-Like Viara, the shaping is inspired by Pokémon's Mewtwo.

What’s up guys! I’m extremely happy to finally post all 151 1st generation Pokémon!! A few years ago I built four of them and was happy with the response that I received from everyone. With all of the hype coming from Pokémon Go!, I figured why not try to make all 151! I’m not sure how long the building process actually took me, but the photographing was about 18 hours and the editing was around 28 hours. As you can tell I am very relieved it’s over! Here are the five figures from Netflix's Mewtwo Strikes Back remake: Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Brock, and Mewtwo. I had alot of fun making them! What do you guys think?

Mewtwo strikes back! Mewtwo is a legendary Pokémon artificially created from the genes of Mew. Known as the Genetic Pokemon, it possesses powerful psychic abilities. It is designed to be a vicious, unyielding fighter whose creators failed to endow it with a compassionate heart. While normally Mewtwo has a purple tail and eyes, a rare shiny Mewtwo is lime green instead. It is also a playable character in the Super Smash Brothers series, and is one of my personal favorite fighters.
I built this a couple of years ago with the goal of greatly improving my old Mewtwo MOC from 2015. It's larger, its pose is better, its shaping is better, I'm overall much more proud of this model. I chose this scale after deciding on a good design for the hand, and basing everything else on that. I chose to make it shiny because I have many more lime green pieces than purple. Another improvement on my old design is that it stands in an environment surrounded by stalagmites, giving the impression it is preparing for a battle against a trainer in Cerulean Cave, where Mewtwo can be found in the Kanto region.

Pokémon #150- It was created by a scientist after years of horrific gene splicing and DNA engineering experiments.
The Nepol torso is what inspired this moc. It seems to have been made specifically for Mewtwo. Sorry about the face. I couldn't find a piece to accurately represent the eyes, so the visor is there to give a general idea of where they should be. Pretty satisfied with how this turned out, regardless.

Before anyone says it... I know what color mewtwo is. I don't have those colors. So I chose the next best with what I have.
