A number of different colours can be seen in this Uparatna (Gemstone). It is a translucent stone and its shape depends on the way it is cut. Due to the cutting, it is seen green from some angles and red from others.

British sculptor Emily Young is a talented lady, she has created 6 beautiful works of art from ancient lumps of stone. Each piece has been painstakingly carved and polished to create a work of art that really impressed me… they quite frankly blew my mind!
The six large heads stand around 2 metres tall and weigh between 1 and 3 tonnes. The natural textures and colours of the stones are a sight to behold, and which have been enhanced by the sculptors skills.

his expanded edition of James Ellington's preeminent translation of Grounding of the Metaphysics of Morals includes his new translation of Kant's essay 'On a Supposed Right to Lie Because of Philanthropic Concerns', in which Kant replies to one of the standard objections to his moral theory as presented in the main text: that it requires us to tell the truth even in the face of harmful consequences.
This Uparatna (Gemstone) is usually found in variations of Yellow and Golden colours. This is a translucent stone which seems familiar to topaz.

Ori is a metaphysical concept important to Yoruba spirituality and way of life.
Ori, literally meaning "head," refers to one's spiritual intuition and destiny. It is the reflective spark of human consciousness embedded into the human essence, and therefore is often personified as an Orisha in its own right . In Yoruba tradition, it is believed that human beings are able to heal themselves both spiritually and physically by working with the Orishas to achieve a balanced character, or iwa-pele. When one has a balanced character, one obtains an alignment with one's Ori or divine self.
Alignment with one's Ori brings, to the person who obtains it, inner peace and satistaction with life. To come to know the Ori is, essentially, to come to know oneself. The primacy of individual identity is best captured in a Yoruba proverb: "Ori la ba bo, a ba f'orisa sile". When translated, this becomes It is the inner self we ought to venerate, and let divinity be.

Edward C. Halper
One and Many in Aristotle's Metaphysics: The Central Books
The problem of the one and the many is central to ancient Greek philosophy, but surprisingly little attention has been paid to Aristotle’s treatment of it in the Metaphysics. This omission is all the more surprising because the Metaphysics is one of our principal sources for thinking that the problem is central and for the views of other ancient philosophers on it.
The Central Books of the Metaphysics are widely recognized as the most difficult portion of a most difficult work. Halper uses the problem of the one and the many as a lens through which to examine the Central Books. What he sees is an extraordinary degree of doctrinal cogency and argumentative coherence in a work that almost everyone else supposes to be some sort of patchwork. Rather than trying to elucidate Aristotle’s doctrines—most of which have little explicitly to do with the problem, Halper holds that the problem of the one and the many, in various formulations, is the key problematic from which Aristotle begins and with which he constructs his arguments.
