this is a small metal lamp I found it on the road side of a stall being exibited on a table for sales.
in most of the Hindu houses this type of metal lamps will be there in their prayer room.

This interesting wall lamp was found on a very narrow street in the town of Bruges.in the Netherlands . Many of these light were hung along the walkways and roads.
I went for a high ISO 2500 to produce a grainy, noisy shot of my parent's sleek, modern design lamp.
I always thought this lamp highly intriguing and appealing aesthetically, It is an art piece in itself.
The arcing shadows cast on the wall caught my eye. I also chose to present this in monochrome - the lamp is made of copper.

I noticed this lamp today in my comings and goings and was blown away by its detail. Now I am by no stretch of the imagination an art connoisseur but I know what I like and I like this. Do you know who is the maker of this rare lamp? It's chrome with copper and heavy! 70s and a tulip base made of some metal, nickel? Someone informed Me that it's a copy of the Pierre Cardin Lamp, from the 70s, while someone else told Me that this lamp is from a company called, Laurel Lamp?
