I thought it would be fun to take a snapshot of my desk and share it today. It doesn't always look like this, but I've been doing more and more repairs lately, so this is becoming more typical by the day.

Photo taken with an Olympus OM-D E-M1 and 9mm F8 Fisheye body cap lens.

Today I made a GPS satellite and an Earth. Tomorrow I will put them together and add the sun and the moon.

While working though the production area at work this afternoon I found this sticker on a palette...

...I thought it suited the past few weeks perfectly.

On a side note, don't you just love the ethernet networking mess behind my computer! Can we say ghetto! :)

Actually she is looking quizzically at Loki who is sitting on my shoulder.....Bailey really seems to wonder why Loki does that!

Happy Curious Birds Feathery Friday!

Yep, the desk I sit at all the time :)

I need to clean my desk. These Mechatro Wegos will use anything as a weapon, the little one in back is armed with a flamingo.

Now where did I put that receipt?

I think it is a good way to end the week..with a laugh.

I thought I was never going to get through this week! It is Friday now, so put your feet up people!!!

My messy room contest entry. I've since built a new computer, but it's pretty much the same evolving mess.

Yes, we live an exciting life!

Week #19 ~ Maximalism

I can see a Harvard banner and another banner? with a large "H". She may be a Harvard student in her dorm room. Not many female students at Harvard. The part of Harvard that was for women was called Radcliffe. Many other interesting things at her crowded desk. I think the two crossed sticks are riding crops. She uses a baby face jar to hold extra pens.

Miu-Chan: get up you lazy egg, I'm going to take your picture!

my desk at work. too bad i couldn't capture the vintage abba poster hanging above it all...

I enjoy watching my DVD's on my eMac.

i finished another lady last night and this morning. my desk is a mess- covered in charcoal dust and sticky bits of paper.

It's a bit messy and this is my first time uploading my desk to anyone or any site for that matter.

Legendary attorney Floyd Abrams of Cahill, Gordon. This man has arguably done more to shape the First Amendment of the Constitution in the last 50 years than any other single attorney. Intentionally, he was one of my first portraits, taken in August 2006.

My desk. This is where the magic happens! :)

I have never been able to keep it organized for more than 1 day.

Needless to say- it's time I tidied it up...

Daily Shoot 450 Preparedness

This is my desk. I am prepared for everything... despite the mess.

Thanks school, this is the mess you created.

Here is my desk! As much as I've tried to go paperless, there are still lots of piles in my life.

I am going to clean it off, though! Then I'll post an after picture.

It's not usually so bad, but...I've been busy...on flickr

I'll clean it up this week..end..ish, for a fresh start in November.

I cleaned my desk! (see messydesk pic for comparison)

Wage loved playing with Baby Girl until she started to gnaw at his apron.

This one gives a peek inside a drawer where The Mess continues.

(I wonder how many people with neat-looking desks actually have huge messes hidden within the drawers.)

Somewhere I saw someone had posted an annotated photo of their desk. Having much better things to do today, I decided to procrastinate and post this instead.

About to make some changes to my website (consider this an exclusive sneak preview), and I just put my "very gradual change we can believe in" print up.

This was basically all of the easily reachable electronic related nonsense in my room thrown onto my desk.

Also a rubber duck.

Engadget was (is?) having a contest giving away a Nikon D80. The theme for the picture was "electronics or consumer tech". I'm pretty sure they haven't gotten around to announcing a winner, but I assume it is not me... since I still don't have a D80.

Day 275 // Y4 // 28.11.2011

Hit 50,087 two days before the end of the month. Whoop whoop! I enjoyed doing it, but I'm not really sure that I'll be doing it again after this year... I feel like I've gotten all that I need to get out of the process of thrashing 50k out in under a month. Oh well: we'll see.

Celebrated in the evening by going to The Oak with some of the loveliest guys I know. My friends are the best (see comments for proof).

This is yet again and appallingly lazy picture, and yet that is somehow strangely appropriate. I like, when I can, to have my picture reflect something that I've done or experienced that day, and today I have done absolutely nothing - not even left the house.

So amongst the mess on my desk, here's a delightful retro sweet. Treets were launched by Mars in 1976, and ruled the roost of chocolate peanut snacks before being phased out in 1988 by those darned multi-coloured M&Ms.

For some reason, god knows why, they're back. I'm happy on one hand, because they're nice, yet sad on the other because Mars chose to resurrect Treets instead of Pacers! Treets already have a market equivalent (Peanut M&Ms) but Pacers (Mint Opal Fruits/Starbursts) really don't.

Bring back Pacers!!!

Ironing my jeans for a night out. Except that I didn't even wear these jeans. Waste of time!
